Tbh, i love the one bit where the one dude is just so into it. Knight warhorns blaring, and the chad just goes *LET'S FUCKING KILL THEM* absolutely king
Apologize, but my fixation on warhammer 40k is making me want to correct you on some thing's. The Cadians(regular human's) are using a Lazgun, basically just a lazer gun. The Space Marines are using a Bolter, normal humans are usually forbidden from even possessing boldter rounds. A Heavy Bolter is your crew served machine gun, like a mounted 50. cal.
I was going to do the same thing you did till I saw your comment, so thanks. There are Bolters that are more sized for baseline human (because Space Marine Bolters are massive) but those are usually only given to important people (officers, captains, commanders, commasiars especially) or highly specialized groups (The Sisters of Battle). Heavy Bolters are used by everyone just differently depending on who is using them. Guards use them as mounted weapons while Space Marines, Sisters, and the Jungle fighters of Catachan carry those things around because when the trees start speaking heresy, bring the jungle down.
The Cadians (usually) use the Kantrael-Pattern Lasgun or Locke-Pattern Lascarbine. The .75 cal Bolter is for officers, ala Lieutenant up, with Commisars always having one. The Catachan Jungle Fighters also use the .75, although some use the .998. Speaking of which, the .998 Heavy Bolter is the mounted Bolter, along with the main ranged weapon of the SoB and the Astartes.
5:24 because that IS a 90s early 2000s games, its called “Dawn of War” this version being a DLC/expansion called winter assault the most well known dawn of war is dark crusade which consider the best warhammer RTS
"What is that noise??" Yeah, so... Knights and Titans have what are essentially fog horns. Trust me, they get abused exactly as much as you'd think they would.
2:04 I think one such example was where you rescue Crix Madine for the... Second time was it? It's been awhile since I've played Rogue Squadron and it's also been awhile since I've actually counted how many times Crix Madine had to be saved after his defection in-universe. Anyway the mission was Defection at Corellia.
about that with the lead..... that weapons used there that is shoulder mounted is a las cannon (old model) its beam travel in light speed (laser) so you can say its a hitscan.
Loved the video @Kip Reacts! Can't wait for the next video man! Not gonna lie though, but I was also waiting for the Bosnian Knight to make an Appearance as well! At least we had the "Shadow Wizard Money Knight" to fill in for him LMAO! The Scene where Raptor tried to revive the Commisar is Peak Levels of "Getting ArmA-ed. If you're not getting killed while a Friendly is trying to revive you, you're either Getting Injured Again or you're Clipping clean through the Map and Watching everything going on from below. Also, those Horns you heard before the Defense had Started are the Warhorns of the Knights, and the Little Walkers are the Imperial Scout Walkers which are similar to the AT-RT Walkers from Star Wars. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
not that I've played DoW I have played the C&C series with the exception of the C&C that shall remain unspoken my favorite tactic was the Engineer Rush strat 😂
I think the most impressive thing is not just the relative stability of the engine but also the scale. This isnt CoD loosing frames because you shot the AC-130 missile a few too many times in a 5v5, this is a giant battlefield with hundres of players with different weapons, models and vehicles all at the same time.
You know Kip, If you like those little Knights, Pancreasnowork has an excellent video on Imperial Knights. And frankly, I'd recommend his channel in general.
From my non-existent computer knowledge and just an observation. Older engines seem to be able to work magic. As there’s more limitations, it means you need creativity to make things work. And more creativity means more things working efficiently. Such as in Terraria and Payday 2.
Modern CPUs are becoming strong enough to run games off their own native graphics rendering. AMD has a recent one that can straight up run Cyberpunk at a decent graphics setting at 60 fps. That's impressive I'd say.
Sadly Raptor and the others chose to be big blueberries which are boring because whenever someone who doesn't know much about 40k thinks Space Marine they instantly say Ultramarine blueberries
Oil I know you wanna talk but you talk to long and I find myself skipping entire minutes trying to get past your talking so please shut up until after the video pleassssse
23:13 Funnily enough the Lascannon _should_ be hitscan because it's a laser.
Oh, I can see that. That would make sense.
15:00 Sadly the Bosnian Knight had perished before this encounter, I still remember it’s final moments
And worse, they were then corrupted by chaos. Count Moneybags had to free a former friend from their suffering.
Using a Knight as the bigger fish is really funny as there are STILL bigger fish. We call them TITANS!
Tbh, i love the one bit where the one dude is just so into it.
Knight warhorns blaring, and the chad just goes *LET'S FUCKING KILL THEM*
absolutely king
THe smaller ones are called Armigers. They're often deployed with knights as anti-infantry.
21:07 HARK THE KNIGHT’S HORNS SOUND OUR BATTLE!!!!

My beautiful nerds, I salute you!
16:18 the brother knight to the Bosnian Knight, House Moneybags Knight, he shall carry on the honor of the Bosnian Knight
10:22 Who's gonna tell Kip that all of the overlaid footage and audio IS from an old RTS from the mid 2000's?
lol, yeah. "Hmm, the cutscenes from an older game really remind me of cutscenes from older games!" And the purple is made of purple, I see.
5:24 because that IS a 90s early 2000s games, its called “Dawn of War” this version being a DLC/expansion called winter assault the most well known dawn of war is dark crusade which consider the best warhammer RTS
would love to see kip just dive in to bricky's videos on the 40k universe
So I don't know if Kip registered it but one of the Knights was called of House Moneybags
I've been waiting for this specific reaction for *so* long, it's time for some incredible shots.
The Bosnian Knight did make an appearance, it just looks a bit different. 17:33

The mission I think 2:13 is closely resembling to me is the search for the nonnah
about that with the lead..... that weapons used there that is shoulder mounted is a las cannon (old model) its beam travel in light speed (laser) so you can say its a hitscan.
26:21 what is a boat but a ship in the water?
I would recommend thunderpsykers dawn of War1 review, and it's subsequent dlcs

8:02 It's not a Bolter, Kip, it's a Lasgun.
The 40K arsenal just keeps getting cooler and cooler.
17:35. Look at what they did to my boi.
that is actually just a regular bolter in the beginning. the horn after the bunker scene was a titan warhorn.
not that I've played DoW I have played the C&C series with the exception of the C&C that shall remain unspoken my favorite tactic was the Engineer Rush strat 😂
I both love and hate the meme of Ultramarines being the "boy scout" because just a reminder. Ultramarines are meant to be Romans.
I think the most impressive thing is not just the relative stability of the engine but also the scale.

The intro voice line base on dawn of war game
Istg, at this point Kip is just teasing us by not fully diving into 40k 😂
You know Kip, If you like those little Knights, Pancreasnowork has an excellent video on Imperial Knights. And frankly, I'd recommend his channel in general.
For QTEs, one series I feel did them well is the Dark Picture Anthology…
But those are very story-based/ what-you-do-affects-the-outcome type games…
8:06 Lazgun not bolter.
ay do any of you know the name of the music at 6:02 ?

I feel like Arma 3 is becoming/going to become the new gmod, if it hasn't already.
