It was because I pulled off a piece that was supposed to separate the screen and the front plastic part. I just don’t touch the screen and if it gets that bubble I use a suction cup and pull on the screen
@@WillM. My spare parts have now arrived. I also ordered the red cover and believe it or not, I had exactly the same problems with the display. I then stuck glue to the edges of the display and now it works reasonably well. I think it's the poor quality of the counterfeit cover. But now I know how to open a 6th generation iPod. I had to repeat it many times.
you need a thicker back plate, the insides are probably pushing against the screen because there is not enough space
the sheer violence and pain that this iPod went through is unbelievable

The ending was so unsatisfying and now I’m scared for my iPod but I am flash modding mine so fingers crossed that won’t happen to mine
