Uhhhhhh where is snorelax for Barry, it’s on all of his final teams. Floatzel would not be there if he has empoleon
Cheren should have two teams:
His team as a normal trainer
And his Gym leader team
His gym leader team is the team of a Normal trainer hahaha
They were Gym Pokemon. He used them to test the challengers' bonds with their Pokemon, according to Juniper. Not his strongest or true team. If I remember correctly, Cheren said "If only I had my team" or something like that when the four of them (Professor Juniper, Bianca, Protagonist and Cheren) were talking.
Besides Cheren isn't a Rival in White 2 and Black 2.
Greninja: Do I even exist? Trevor should've had one to fix his type advantage, also DUPLICATE TYPES

@Skurk yeah, I agree Hop was one of the best rivals, Though i do have an unpopular opinion. I think Hop is a pretty good Rival, But more in the sense of how he grows as a character and the fact i felt sad about beating him at times.
Lol I named him Rex when I was a kid because it looked like his name is Rex to me I guess

I do not free with Barry’s team he will use only two of Roserade, Floatzel, and Rapidash. He uses the types that are not his starter Pokémon so if he chose Empoleon then take off Floatzel and add Snorlax which is a Pokémon he uses in Pokémon Platnium

Gladion gets a kanto starter after he returns from kanto in USUM and it's the same type as the protagonist starter, i feel like gladion could have a charizard since hau gets a decidueye
Barry's mainstay pokemon are Staraptor, Heracross & Snorlax (Snorlax even should be obvious as he always use Munchlax when you have double battle with him), the others are interchangeable depend on what you consider his starter
The Barry team you described is if you choose Piplup. Floatzel, Rapidash and Roserade are interchangeable depending on the Starter you picked. You also forgot Snorlax in his mons.
It's a fun video and fun series, however I will say this : the pokemon/trainer animations do not look like normal organics. They look more like they're slipping on ice.

I get that it doesn't matter much, but it would've been nice to avoid repeats between rivals of the same Gen, like Calem and Serena didn't both need absol or sylveon for Serena and Shauna.
On a different note though, I like how no one from X & Y used Froakie on their team.

If Empoleon is on team I don’t think he should have Floatzel on the team, you know 2 water types. Personally think Snorlax would have been a better fit for Barry.
Well red has a blastoise and lapras in his hgss team so why cant Barry have 2 water types, but Red can

9:39 since you do not know shauna's ambition in the manga is to be a furfroo stylist. she also lost her own furfroo when their town was destroyed when the kalos legendaries fought in their town.
I feel like there are 2 different Hau's. The Sun and Moon world and the Ultra world. I feel SuMo Hau has Primarina and UsUm Hau has Decidueye.
So I am a bit confused where you got your information from regarding Barry’s team in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. All of his Pokémon there are identical to the ones in Platinum and are fully evolved by the final battle. Am I missing something?
Um Barry has a rotation depending on his starter so if he chose em piplup he would have staraptor snorlax herocross roserade rapidash and empower. If he chose one of the other two floatzel would replace roserade or rapidash

I am, I have a true starter video for the protags ready to be edited since the script is done it just takes so long to edit them so I will give it some time befor I make it.

I enjoyed the teams you put together!! Though you sound slightly uncertain when stating your choices of pokemon throughout of the video, your reasonings didn't sound too convincing either especially around the Kalos rivals when guessing their true pokemon with no evidence but your own opinion which is understandable. I did like the teams you put together though, Keep it up!!
It also make sense for Calem to have a Charzard as we get to have a Kanto Starter as a gift as well as a Kalos Starter in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
Instead of Charzard I mean Charizard as I made a mistake.
What you said about barry not having a fully evolved team in diamond and pearl is completely false. Like the idea of the series though 👍 Are you gonna do it for the player characters as well?

Tierno doesnt have a Mamoswine on the manga. They temporaly use Mamoswines to travel a snowy area which the name I forgot

Tierno’s team is 3/6 water type and also 3/6 grass. The mons suit him tho, not sure about Mamoswine tho.

Ok as a giant lover of platinum you missed some things about Barry. He has a snorlax in his final team. The Pokémon that share the type with his starter is not present. Also I can’t in my right mind make Barry an Empoleon user. That’s Dawn’s signature. If I play as Dawn, Barry is a Torterra trainer, and if I play as Lucas, Barry is an Infernape trainer. It seems so wrong giving him Empoleon. Especially since Infernape fits his personality best. A blazing fast power hungry fire monkey, and then floatzel WOULD be present which is also fitting. His whole team is very based on sweepers. So it fits that he’d use the fastest of them.
why gladion doesn't have a midnight licanrock????? I think thta fits well in his team, because it's so more baddass and he uses one in the anime series

Also give Tierno Raichu and/or Hitmontop instead of Chesnaught

I thought barry had a snorlax not a floatzel
I personally don't think that Absol really fits with either Calem or Serena, so just replace Absol with Meowstic, male and female respectively. It's a unique Pokemon of Kalos and Calem even has on in Pokemon Masters, so yeah.
In sword and shield if you fight did O and everybody's at time it is he can attack

U know Barry has snorlax herocross and staroptor but has a fire grass water swap like blue so if u pick turtwig he will have infernape foatzel and Rosarade if u pick chimchar he will have empoleon rapidash and roserade and if u choose piplup he has floatzel rapidash and torterra
