That is a superb box spin during the intro. Another brilliant video. You guys are the gold standard in board game playthroughs. Thank you for all you do. 😍
At first, I was thinking, if everyone’s getting the same pieces, won’t their towns look very very similar? Boy was I wrong! Looks fun, and I like how the array will switch up each time. Nice surprise to see Isaac come on the show. I was like, “is that Isaac Vega?” and then I heard the unmistakable laugh. 😊 Thought this was gonna be his design that he was on to plug, but no, just a regular guest
I taught and played this with a coworker of mine last week after watching Rodney's How to of this game. Our scores at the end of the game were 29-26 for my coworker. I liked this game so much and see that there's a ton of replayability that I purchased a copy for my collection that same night. I like it a lot.
This game is so great. Got it Day it released as a perk of being an Upstate NY’er at my local game store. The game is Devilish. It really shows to. This might be the funniest episode ever. Great job. Great video BGG, and Game Night. This is one of my favorite Board Gaming related Weekly uploads so you guys rock. Also RODNEY!!!!!!!❤️
Just picked this game up and looking forward to playing it after seeing it in action. I'm glad Rodney overcame Tiny Towns and went on to keep growing Watch it Played 😂 He definitely brought the fun to this episode.
Getting Tiny Towns in a few days, it's been ordered! I hope to have half as much fun playing it as you had here, looks like TT hits all the sweetspots with regards to gameplay lenght, friendly banter and table talk, dynamics of the gameplay, learning curve...
Alright, that was a very funny episode. Maybe one of the funniest I've ever seen and I really like GameNight! I knew why I always shouted to have Rodney on the show.
In a way, it reminds me of Ticket To Ride, in reverse. In Ticket, the cars you need are on the board, and the other players take them, leaving you with a choice of four blues and a pink. In Tiny Towns, the other players keep making you take the color you need least, gumming up your board. =)
"Churches and walls, that'll keep em out" - Isaac thinking it's Dead of Winter lol It was so great to see Nikki getting to play her own game without being told what to do by a certain someone I adore (not there)... other than when he does that to Nikki.
Is it odd the one person who didn’t use their power won?! The special buildings look so difficult they seem to cause a big mess over the course of them game! And even harder if one person isn’t going for a rainbow as well!
Forgive me. Oh to die before the harvest. The crops, the grains. Fields of rippling wheat. Wheat. All there is in life is wheat. Oh, wheat! Lots of wheat! Fields of wheat. A tremendous amount of wheat. Yellow wheat. Red wheat. Wheat with feathers. Cream of wheat.
Dmitri, is that the thanks I get for trying to give the viewers an action packed season?!? :-) Really we go from May to May with maybe a small break between. This will be the last Season 6 episode and we will resume in two weeks time after BGG Con Spring. I decided to make the season break just before the SdJ coverage because that is the craziest time of the year for GameNight! We will have a big episode and follow up with the Kinderspiel des Jahres Nominees and discussion show. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
I was thinking the same thing. We just played this tonight and played the well as a building. He made me doubt the rule, but after looking it up the well card is referred to as a building card. So, it definitely should have been counted as a building.
Black Hat I believe it's Japanese for Tower Records. I bought it at Tower Records' Shibuya store in 2018. Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln
8:50 Just for clarification purposes, if one of the wells were exchanged for the farm on the board, would wells count twice, or just once? Do the theaters count the unique pieces on a row and column together, or do they count the row and column separately? And I'm guessing that you can't use factories offensively, and call something nobody wants and use your factory, if it had that resource on top of it, to exchange for a resource you didn't call, right?
Each well scores for every cottage adjacent to it. Orthogonal only. Theaters look to both of the row and column in combination. Factory powers only apply when someone else is calling the resource.
Oh my goodness gracious, this is the first time I've ever heard Rodney swear!!! 4:04 - "Hey, I'm gunna _____ the farm piece!" Great job explaining the game as always Rodney, even though you reallyy want that farm piece
Lincolnville , Lincoln Park, Town Previously Named Lincoln, St. Lincolnberg, Lincolnia, Holy Lincoln Township and my personal favorite Lincolnshire (Lincolnshire, Illinois not Lincolnshire, England)
Just a guest (I live on the exact opposite side of the continent as it turns out), BUT, anytime I get over that way, I'm always happy to drop by for a game :)
If only Nikki says bricks instead of glass. Rodney will be out. The most the other can do is wood for a well which she can build also. Then build a tavern. And then 2 more well and another cottage.
This looks like a great game! In the next season would you consider some older games, we've never seen you play Catan, but would love to see you play SOL, it plays 2-8 so could be good if you had plenty of guests. Would also recommend Survive Escape from Atlantis/Space.
Don’t worry Rodney, you can probably get your old job back, now that you’re washed up in the gaming world. Dang, you had a good run though. Too bad you stink at simple little games like this one. You coulda been a contenda!
I don't like to be negative, but I come to game night to see Nikki, Linc, Dave, Aaron, Mark and Mike. And occasional guests. Great. If i want to see Rodney I can go to watch his own channel. Gonna skip this one. Sorry folks.
@@BGBarbarian Two key reasons. One; most channels are about throughput and Rodney draws in bigger crowds (I made no personal gripes against Rodney). I love watching the Game Night Gang and worry that we might see some permanent changes - which could be great for the channel numbers, but wouldn't float my boat. I made a comment to express my opinion - perhaps I could have worded things differently to prevent offence or to add clarity - but that is difficult if you're expressing a contrary opinion. Two; I am privileged to have been born in and reside in a nation that allows contrary opinions to be shared. I am sorry to have offended anyone - Including Rodney (and the Rodney posse!), but we stumble down a slippery slope if we silence the quiet voices stating honest standpoints. Does that seem fair BB?
I love Rodney Smith. No matter the game. He is the boss!
Loved the chemistry between you guys. So much laughter. I really enjoyed watching you play :)
That spin with the box that Rodney does at the beginning is so satisfying to watch. I replayed it like 17 times.
It's like it's flying or something oh my lord
Rodney! Big fan of Watch it Played!
Wow Isaac Vega, one of the great game designers playing Tiny Towns!
Have been watching Game Night forever, but never realized this about Isaac till seeing your comment. The designer of Dead of Winter?!?! OMG!
That is a superb box spin during the intro.

Isaac Vega! I just played his game Neon Gods two days ago. Excellent game.
isnt that the one with a purplish board and a guy who looks like freddie mercury?
Ronald Bryan Domingo yup. It was great.
Saw the video 2 days ago, ordered it yesterday, picked it up and played 4 times today
Super fun (and frustrating!) game. I hope you continue to enjoy it. -Lincoln
Love the camaraderie between you guys, keep it up!
Game Night always has great chemistry which makes them enjoyable to watch! Keep up the great videos!
This episode was hilarious! I was laughing out multiple times watching this. It was great, I need to get this game.

Great episode, gang! I like the crossing of board game personalities. When will Tom, Zee, or Sam make an appearance?
i think they are west coast and east coast...and USA is a big country
walls and churches will keep them out so I can build my wead farm. LOL
Looks like an awesome game.. I wonder when it would reach the shores of Sunny Singapore...

HAPPY HAMERSDAY (watch geek and sundry's play of this game)
Really looking forward to this episode- about to watch it now 😁
Nikki seems so much more at ease when Dave isn't there
Because there's no one there to quarterback her EVERY move. I love Dave, but it drives me nuts he doesn't just let Nikki play her own game.

Hehe, I like the content, was just wondering if you guys were going for some sort of record or something. Sweet. Let's hope season 7 is even longer :D
35:47 that's soooooo stupid Rodney🤦🤦. Love the game though!
Pretty sure Rodney had 5 different building types, unless the well doesn't count as a building? So he'd had 23 points.
I was thinking the same thing. We just played this tonight and played the well as a building. He made me doubt the rule, but after looking it up the well card is referred to as a building card. So, it definitely should have been counted as a building.
I would lose. I would spend my turns building a mini shrine to Rodney's beautiful face.
Get the FELD games to the table!.
[00:23] I cant figure out the font so cant read it, but what does Lincoln's T-Shirt says.
Black Hat I believe it's Japanese for Tower Records. I bought it at Tower Records' Shibuya store in 2018. Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln
Is it also a good game for 2 persons?
It’s great with 2. That’s the only way we’ve played it after filming this. -Lincoln

If this were a tournament I would be investigating Rodney for match fixing. Some spectacular throwing of the game there. :)
I really did a wonderful job of sabotaging myself! I promise to teach how to play, not how to play 'well' :)
Shouldn't Rodney get 5 points for each unique building because he has wells, cottage, chapel, tavern, and farm?
Hold up, is that Isaac Vega?
Sure is!
It ain’t Vincent Vega!
I see Rodney, I click.
