The residents of these tiny towns would play a drinking game in which every time someone said “Happy Hammer’s Day!” the people would drink! There were no survivors.
Such a fun group of people! Love it! I purchased this game and played it for the first time today... had 2 rounds as after the 1st game we all learnt new/more strategies.. such a fun game! Obsessed!
I taught & played this game at a con. It was a real blast. It was super-easy to teach, but the strategy is a LOT more complicated than it looks. It's really hard to manage that board and not knock yourself out of the game... and to actually get decent points.
Yes that seemed like the best strategy for it, though placement would make it a bit difficult to get very far without having to diversify. Might be best to just build wells at the end to avoid the -1, even though they won't score anything.
wil wheaton is probably why there isn't more tabletop. That last season had a lot of gameplay errors, and while Wil plays the role of the master of ceremonies and rules, he actually delegated the responsibility to a producer, who he threw under the bus in a personal blog entry when people were complaining about the rules errors that season. So wil got the on-camera presence of being the Rulesmaster, but none of the actual duties (like reading manuals) and actively ducked responsibility for it.
Tabletop ended because the company that purchased geek and sundry wanted to charge publishers for playing their games. And because of difference of vision they parted ways.
Rules say: Building layouts may be mirrored/flipped and rotated, as long as the configuration of resources remains the same. So what he did is a valid build.
Gotcha. I didn’t watch their how to play (I’m a watch it played/Rodney Smith fan for instructional vids). The rule book shows an illustrated example (as well as supporting text) of a mirrored/flipped pattern being used to construct a building.

The pun and following edit at 24:12. 👌
Looks like you guys had a great fun time playing this game.
I take english class with Becca...
The way she speaks I can understand.😍👍🇧🇷
@3:03 If Game the Game has taught me anything about Becca, then it's definitely that she knows how to acquire a good hard piece of wood.
This game looks fun and easy to learn.
I have heard so much about this game and very excited to try it out.
This game is perfection.
This is a fun game and an awesome group.
Love you guys!
Churches right next to bars? Are you building my town?
Comprised of mostly Irish immigrants?
@@javierbengzon7289 Afraid it is not. They are not too fond of immigrants around here, though I am sure they don't me those of the Irish variety.
@@MyPisceanNature that is both sad and awful.
@@javierbengzon7289 Mississippi is a sad and awful place lol.
I was waiting for the “Hammer Time” joke. I was not disappointed
I feel like the sky baths could work well if you went factories -> taverns.

hey did I miss a video cause I didn't see them play dungeonology and I was really looking forward to the play video of it
The How To Plays don't always come out immediately before the matching Game The Games, so hopefully that one's on the way soon.
@@nightcatarts I was going to say, I love the concept of the game and would love to see a play through of it... can't wait for it then :)
It was way too soon. The Game the Game of Dungeonology got released a few days ago.
I see Gina in the thumbnail I watch the video
at what point did they explain feeding cottages? @geek&Sundry
“Well watered” got me, I’m ashamed to admit
tou can def make a drinking game for every time they say happy hammers day
2:14 Holy crap! I'm eating a turkey and cheese sandwich right now.
Shhh! You’re making me want a turkey and cheese sandwich right now! 😂 Man, I don’t know how to control my hunger...
Who the %$ eats Turkey with cheese? WTF!?!
Great subtitles, great playthrough, you got a sub 1:20 into the vid :) keep them coming please!!
What happens if you only make taverns?
I enjoyed watching this. But IMO Wil Wheaton's Tabletop is 'hands down' better in all ways. Though I hope we get some new episodes soon!
This show has been going on for years.. it didn't replace Tabletop; it was already on during the last season of Tabletop.

Yeah, Tabletop self-destructed. Don't hold your breath waiting for it to come back.

*An authentic Reuben Sandwich is made w/Light Rye Bread, Brown Mustard, Sauerkraut, and Pastrami* 😋
Happy Hammers Day all!
Trogdor board game when.
We want Wil Wheaton back!!! Craving for some more Tabletop episodes. Play more games!!!
How high are you guys that hammers day is making you laugh 30 mins in?
Stop! Hammer time.
8:47 Hate to tell yah buddy but that icon doesn't rotate to your placement

@@andrewbilzen That wasn't in the How to Play. They said it could be in any direction but flipping it isn't considered a direction.

Gotcha.
This game feel like Alice in wonderland table of tea with the hatter.
Did she say I would like to get stoned? I must have misheard that.

We want Wheaton! Clap clap
It's over man. Clap clap

This channel is probably staying afloat from people rewatching The Flog, TableTop, Co-Optitude and Day [9] content.
