I do long posts, I apologize and disclaimer ... don't read unless you're really bored. Great way to write down and keep my thoughts in a single platform.
I have a personal mantra, "Get Lost You Never Know What You'll Find." Would appreciate you 4x4 pros on a piece of advice. I'm deciding between a GMC Sierra and a Toyota Tundra, love stuff about both of them. Thoughts?
Watching videos posting is a great repository for my thoughts and serves as a great way to journal.
I was in Budapest for work about ten years ago for a decent stint. If I'm ever in a new place I just start walking around. I speak a few other languages either fluently or functionally but definitely not Hungarian. Didn't have my phone on international plan so I really couldn't use google maps or anything. Walked into a really cool pub that turned out to be a cop bar. Those guys didn't speak English and I didn't speak a word of Hungarian but on one guy's phone we did basic communication. By the time I left we all knew each others' kids names and were having a great time. They wanted to know where I was staying and what I was up to so they could make sure I had a good, safe experience in what I can attest is a pretty epic, deeply old and historic city. They're very proud of their little piece of Europe and I loved their patriotism. Everyone should love where they're from.
Not really the safest thing to explore places you've never been and I freak my wife out doing stuff when I travel but probably deep down one of the reasons she still likes me after all these years, I assume. My life attitude and professional training is about observing what's going on around me and keeping aware of surroundings. Comes in handy to avoid trouble though doesn't always work perfectly, been in a few pinches. don't assume all of London is safe, all I have to say about that. However, I'm so average that I can blend in pretty well most places, I rarely talk unless I'm writing so that helps to avoid drawing attention.
I watched Rob and Will's BDR video in its entirety because despite being born in Idaho and living here about 75% of my life I haven't even come close to exploring a tiny fraction of the stuff immediately close to Boise or Idaho Falls where I mostly grew up. My youngest of 7 boys is 3 now and we're calling it quits after trying to have a daughter for a long time. My wife got her dream 4x4 SUV a few years ago and it's probably time for me to pull the trigger on the truck we both want me to have for several years, keep my sedan for driving around but really want to deck out a truck.
Need to get the boys up in the mountains, one big reason we live in Idaho to begin with is all of the amazing terrain so close to Boise. My wife grew up in Chicago burbs so she likes to have access to some city stuff. I'm not marketing the Treasure Valley, place is getting really populated, but I can't really think of too many other places that has all the stuff a city can offer and less than an hour I can be in awesome, relatively uncrowded outdoors that are all different in different directions. Had to drive up to Idaho City Monday for some work stuff, it was raining and the dense forest was all misty, creeks, rivers and reservoirs all bursting with water. I think what's missing in modern culture is just getting outside and exploring, doesn't matter where you live, my travels to many parts of the world have all had something amazing to see and explore. No matter where you live just get out and see what's over the horizon.

Do you use that 5 lb propane bottle with your Ignik fire pit? I can't decide if it's worth the investment in a 5 lb bottle or not.
I know the 5 lb bottles are super cheap to get filled but I have multiple 20 lb bottles and they can be swapped almost any where. But, they're bulky and take up a lot of room.
I guess I'm trying to figure out how long the 5 lb bottle will last with the Ignik fire pit to see if I can justify the expense.

Great video! Now you know why we Idahoans are so proud. ❤️ You merely scratched the surface of our beautiful state, one of the most diverse in the country. Idaho has more river miles (and more whitewater) than any other state in the lower 48, and if all our mountains and canyons were ironed out, we would be the largest state in the lower 48! Next time you visit Idaho, check out the Sawtooth NRA, Craters of the Moon NM, Hell's Canyon and Salmon River Canyons (2 deepest gorges in U.S.), Shoshone Falls (the tallest waterfall in the country), Mesa Falls, and the Idaho side of the Tetons for starters. Then there is Northern Idaho....

    SUGGESTION please:
    * In order to make your videos more enjoyable and informative (which will get you more viewers & subscribers!!!) can you please show a quick "map" popping up on the screen (aka video) once in a while when you're "shooting" all of the incredible scenic views... especially with your drone!
This allows us to see where you're at in ID... and other places you visit... and puts things into perspective for us.
Yes, it takes a little more work when editing but, I'll bet that a lot of other viewers, like us, will really really enjoy it (and most UA-camrs don't do it).
