This was sooo much fun to make because we learned a TON about this section of the Oregon Trail. It was so cool to learn how Boise got its name, and to think this is right in our backyard!! Have you ever driven on the Oregon Trail?
@Live2day Wanderland Thank you! Idaho is our fantastic secret overland Paradise 😎. While we do want to represent this area’s amazing beauty and access, we’re OK if folks want to spend their time in Utah and Colorado. 😂😂😂
Another awesome video! I totally do the same thing. Driving through certain areas, I find myself imagining what it would be like to have traveled through on horse back or wagon.
Thank you!! Come on over, we’ll fire up our Prarie Schooners and make a go of it!! ✌🏻

Cool video and a good story! Same thing here, often the geographical and town names get their name from an interesting event or a way of travel. a mountain name can originally be a describing name from natives travels thousands of years ago.
Thank you. It’s really amazing to uncover these stories that change the way we view the things around us. This story also made us feel a kinship with Ambois France, which we’ve been to, since our cities were named for similar reasons!

@@Venture2Roam I feel like Idaho isn't represented enough in the overland world. It's great that you guys get it out there to the community

That looks like an awesome adventure. Did the kids go with you?
The kids were there, but they were more interested in the geckos than the history lesson!
