    I just downloaded the trial of substance painter to see if it was worth purchasing. I've been watching tutorials all day and I have not gotten anywhere. I'm doing the same thing everyone else has been doing.. at least I think I am. But no matter what I do, the material that I drag into the layers panel never shows up on the 3d model. It just stays the same white color it was when I opened it. What am I doing wrong??

      When you drag a material to your layers, it shows the color of the material in the second box on the right. Mine just turns alpha.
