This is another favorite episode and it got me interested on studying signal flags. They are truly fascinating, something about the colors and patterns.
Lots of colorful flags of the world are on display! I believe this Theodore Tugboat episode was the inspiration for the Thomas & Friends episode, "Thomas and the Colors."
Not even. They’re two totally different stories. And besides, Theodore was done by the time Colors was even a thought. No one would of thought of this episode to write that
@@yamitay9258 Hmm, well that kind of makes sense, although the flag episodes of Theodore Tugboat and Thomas & Friends have similarities. For one, the watercraft and railroad characters in both shows wear flags.
6:177:19 imagine being a container ship, and then being roasted by a container you normally would see on your deck. 🤣🤣🤣 Truly a *O.G. CONTAINER* moment.
One of my fave George episodes. And one of my fave George resolutions. He came up with a way to fix things without Theodore or Emily having to tell him what to do. Awesome stuff.
R M In times like these, I think this would be a fantastic show for kids to watch. I didn’t know so much about Theodore when I was younger until I found it again in 2012. Since I’ve watched all these, these episodes have actually helped me to grow as a person. I think it could really help kids today in the world we’re in now
@@yamitay9258 out of all the shows i watch Theodore tugboat has had the biggest impact on my life Theodore is my favourite show of all time it is really special and more kids of today deserve to know about this treasure i hope Theodore can get rebooted one day and i hope that more kids find Theodore tugboat
Has anyone noticed that George was flying a yellow and black chequered flag that resembles the quarantine flags seen in the TUGS episode, "Quarantine?" Also, Chester's colorful livery is similar to Clare the container ship seen in, "George's Big Hurry." Maybe they're siblings!?!!
7:56 There's Haliburton! I believe this is the closest we'll ever get to a special holiday episode of Theodore. Would've been nice if there had been a Christmas themed episode. And wasn't George so generous to give Chester some of his flags so he'd be part of the flag festivities? It shows that George's heart is twice the size as he is 🇹🇩 💪♥️
4:11 That could be a clue that Chester isn't Canadian as Flag Day in Canada is Feburary 15th. Of course, it could be for the Canadian flag and not for signal flags for the water vessels.
Well, in the U.S., Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the United States flag on June 14, 1777, by the resolution of the Second Continental Congress. That's after my birthday.
Where is dock 23 located? I'm working on a Theodore Tugboat roblox game for the anniversary and i can't tell where it is. It looks like it's at the front of the harbour (because you can see Benjamin's face) but where would that be?
The biggest surprise is still yet to come later today ;)
And the surprise is "Emily and the Tug-Of-War!" in high quality!
@Taylor Z. question how do you find these episodes?

I love this episode so much!
I consider this the Theodore Holiday Special. I'm pretty sure it has the record for most cameoes.
This might be the only episode in the series where Guysborough smiles the entire episode. This also is one of my favourite episodes too.
That what I thought too
But I feel like that Guysbrough is the only barge with a mouth

“Even a container has a flag!” I lost it

i died of laughter when i first saw that
*O.G. CONTAINER* moment indeed.

Lool
YEAH! A Theodore Tugboat Episode that centers around the day of my birth!
Also, the Harbor Master's pirate hat reminds me of the time I first wore a sombero!!!!!
I don’t remember the show being like this I’m shook and questioning reality
Maybe you remembered a different show involving tugboats called TUGS, or one called Salty's Lighthouse?
Wish this show was around when I was a kid.

This episodes almost reminds me of Thomas And The Colours
In my opinion the cargo shouldn't have Faces but that container with the little flag was cute
Thomas and the colors, but wayy better

Much better than the flag training episode with George.
I just noticed that Donald dock is flying the "Yes" flag. Donald: Uh huh. 1:49 😂😂

Guys, my friend has that brown barge, not the grumpy one the other one in ERTL
Oh Brunswick you mean. Yeah I've got two of them BUT I will be giving one away to a friend of mine
I wonder what happened to the actual Brunswick model. I know he was one of the props sold on Ebay.
@@yamitay9258 i have the toy of Brunswick too kinda funny that i have him but don't have the great ocean dock set LOL
I think they should have added Canadian flags and US flags and maybe Soviet Union flags. Because of The Great War.
Do you have Theodore Takes Charge, I would like to see that episode in better quality that what Trevor Davis gave us (even though I like Trevor).
I do but I’m not allowed to upload the full episode. I’m only allowed to use it for content. Sorry
@@yamitay9258 Why don’t you put it on dailymotion.
I can’t do it there either. I don’t use Dailymotion anymore. Plus, someone would just steal it anyway

What is the matter with the audio? Why does the music seem to be turned down in volume?

To the right of the oil refinery behind Willy's Island.
Why is this episode in much higher quality than the other ones just this episode looks as good. Was it shot on different cameras?
Honestly no clue
DidI from rugrats saying pirates are too scary for one year olds!, well, the harbor master liked pirates, didI and this is a kids show
Do u have emergency?
Yes I do. But I'm not sure if I want to upload that one yet

I've never even heard of that

Probably the United States

He's from a local harbour
They are many other harbours if don't go to the ocean
