Robert Sears is a student of engineering and neurobiology who loves searching for answers that humans collectively don't have yet. His love for neurobiology came from doing deep dives into the neurological effects of the novel designer drugs he used to abuse in high school and early college, and his passion from engineering started with designing robots for his high school robotics team on amphetamines. Now sober, he has an opportunity to pursue both professionally. In addition to problems with addiction, Robert has been diagnosed with Bipolar, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD. While he still has all of those disorders and is still an alcoholic, none of his disorders negatively impact his life anymore, and he hopes they will all inform his future research.
