This is such a thorough video I love it! I've been to Mexico a few times and always get thrown off by the whole having to pay for a bathroom and taking a roll in my purse 😅 definitely a great video to watch when making a traveling check list thank you!!!
Arrived in PV about a week ago, and really enjoying the city so far. First time here, staying in El Centro, and figuring things out day by day. Great deals on Airbnbs to be had here during the rainy season. New sub to the channel, and look forward to watching more. Thanks for the helpful tips! 👍👍
Thanks for the tip about exchange rates at the banks. Wasn't aware about bargaining for lower rates. Something I could offer about bus riding, apparently the protocol or convention is have the ladies board before the men, and the man pays. Dunno why, guess they're old fashioned that way. Obviously, if women aren't traveling with a man, then they board and pay for themselves LOL. Another great video folks, thanks!🙂
We are glad the bank tip is helpful! The bus thing is interesting - we always have done it that way after noticing some locals doing it, but never thought it could be a local custom, really. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Well done video. I always carry a backpack for things I buy. I attach the strap around the chair I’m sitting in- so thieves have to carry the chair along with the pack. That being said- never had a problem in PV. Very safe.
We have also never had a problem - however, in our opinion, it is important to take steps to be safe and not present a target (same as you!). Overall, we think that PV is very safe and we are just giving some pointers for travel. Thanks for watching and commenting!
It is high on our list of places that we still want to go to. It has a lot of the pros of PV, is a bit bigger, and has a great Malecon. Visit both and compare would be a great idea - thanks for watching!

I’ve owned a condo for 15 years in PV. Go to an atm at a big well known bank. I use hsbc. Never a problem.
We used HSBC on our last trip and had no issues as well. Also, they have much higher withdrawal limits, which is nice.
Gracias from California
Thanks for watching!

Glad it was of use to you - thanks for watching!

We want to spend about a month and a half in Pittillal this winter. Could you recommend a place to stay safe preferably with a safe and quiet.
Look at AIrBNB for short term. Other than that, your best bet is to be in PV and look in the neighbourhood.
Great tips thanks! What about zim card?
SIM card? So easy to get. We got Telcel and it (as well as the data packages) was very reasonably priced. Thanks for watching!
Have you traveled to Mazatlan? Thoughts?

@@livingoverseasonadime5933 I've been to Mazatlan twice, absolutely loved it. Will be checking out PV January 2024 for three weeks. Can't wait!
@@staffstampedecity4331 I hope you enjoy it!
