I've found alot of snipers stay in the same position after they killed me making it easy for me to find and revenge kill them.
They're very stupid.
One rule in sniping is when you kill someone, move away from the place you were when you killed him.
The thing is the stupid ones that keep going the same route of their death lol

Thanks for the tips, in these types of games I LOVEEE sniping (I like the feeling of just popping someone in the head while they're charging your teammates) but I just recently got aPS4 and the game so I'm still kind of noobish, the one thing I have begun to use is the zeroing my scope, although it can be annoying trying to change it sometimes

I unlocked all the sniper rifles and got all the recon kit gadgets and i still love to watch your tips on leveling up recon kits
After watching one of your other videos, I decided to hone my Sniping skills last night. Luckily, I found a Sniper server (where you only can equip Bolt Action Sniper for main rifle usage) that was set in the Desert map. After few hours of fun sessions, I saw a noticable increase in my Sniping skill! I am now planning on using the Sniper class more often (especially in Conquest sessions).
You'll find it works best in rush mode, as the boundaries are better defined and players have relatively restricted areas to go.
Yes. I recently tried Rush modes and I am liking it alot. We have objectives so ppl are more prone to play around it than in random spots.

He is using the .50 cal you find in game it is a on hit kill at any range and it doesn't matter what you hit, yt least he was using it in the first part of the vid, you should try it too

Thank you for that info. I've seen it but did not know about it being a ohk weapon. To try and snipe better/quicker I put a small post-it-note dot on the center of my tv screen. (Helped in Cod too when the emp took away the red,holo dot reticle) Btw, SOMEtimes I try to pick up a weapon and it WON't let me. I hold in on the button and pick it up but when I let go I immediately drop the weapon. WHY? Thnx Steven
Luka Androjna He wasn't though, a range finder attachment doesn't mean its the M82A3. He used the SRR-61 in the first part of the vid. In fact, he doesn't use the pickup sniper at all in this video.

Operation metro is really helpful while using a sniper. My kills when from 5-10 a game to 15-20 a game. This video really helped!

Levi Hekman I've sniped on both pc and console. Precision in terms of a mouse helps, but it isn't as difficult on console as the hivemind makes it out to be.

Nice video man. I just want to say that mav's don't spot people on the mini-map unless you are actually controlling it. It has changed from bf3 so you can't just lay one down and have your mini-map light up.
it's funny that sniper rifles are supposed to be long range weapons but the only game modes you can get kills easily with them (unless you are a pro) are TDM and Domination.

ShyColdChris i'd have to disagree, my personal favorite is the L96 (8x, Flash Hider, Range Finder) You'll do good in all distance scenarios. Very versatile sniper.

i love using the srr61 with 8x scope, no bipod so i can remain mobile might use it on long range maps but smaller maps never use the bipod.

What's the better sniper? The first sniper you get or the M40A5? The first sniper, I have more attachments.
Check the weapon stats for the starter rifle with attachments and the M40A5.

How to unlock all sniper rifles in 2 hours without any kinds of xp boosts ? I already unlock all LMG, all support gadgets, all assault gadgets, all recon gadgets in the battlefest 2x xp event. I try to unlock all sniper rifles but the double xp event ends right after I unlocked the JING-90. Can you make a video of teaching us how to unlock sniper rifles faster ?

After spending about 4 hours plus per sniper I finally got to the last one and have not switched it out since so all good there. I play a lot of conquest and TDM. I find that certain places I can hold down very well with a sniper rifle. You used a couple of these places in this video. I am happy in a way that you have to use weapons to unlock the next weapon. Means that you don't get so many people with the later unlocks so quickly. I am a level 29 right now and see level 50+ everywhere. Just glad that not many people have the nicer/later weapons. BTW do you play support much?
It is, by far, my least used class.
Support is something I normally run in most games. Apart from cod I am assault guy in that case. Is there a second best class for you?
James Burton Pretty much any class but support works just fine with me. I'm not a fan of LMGs despite being even easier to use in BF4
I have only 2 LMG's as I use recon a whole mot more. I find that the LMG's I do have are very easy to use.

i think i started wrong with the long range rifle SRR61 and instead use the medium range sniper rifle,
what do you think is the best medium sniper rifle to use as for a beginner here in BF4?
Most of the rifles in the game are pretty similar overall. Some have different reload, bullet re-chambering/bolt cycling speeds and a slight difference in bullet drop speeds, but there isn't a ton of variety. The SRR will serve you well in pretty much anything that isn't more aggressive recon.
If you're going aggressive, I personally like the M40A5.
+PICK_SIX , I like to play hardcore but don't know to get on the server , one claimed is pressing R3 on my controller Xbox one, and I don't know which button is that! I really suck here and get hit markers a lot! And I like the marksman rifle also and assault!

The most important one is >>> getting used to one sniper rifle. Others are extra spices to make it more efficient and faster.
Question to all you snipers: When I see people in other UA-cam videos along with this one. A lot of them don't use the straight pull and instead just have to re aim after shooting. Is there reasoning behind this? Or does it depend ultimately on the person... One more, when I seen other videos too on UA-cam some snipers had enemy vehicles and players spotted out for them with a orange marker on top of them making them easier to locate at all times. Is this a gadget that has to be equipped? If so which one? Any help would be great. Thanks.
It was one of two things:
1) I was relocating post shot, meaning, regardless of the circumstances, I'd have to leave the scope;
2) I didn't have it unlocked at the time when using the weapon in the footage.
At times, if I know I'm potentially in a losing gun fight and prefer to keep mobility, I'll regularly choose to utilize point 1).
+PICK_SIX oh okay, which would you prefer? A straight pull? And about my second question. Is there a gadget that locates and spots all enemy vehicles and people. I'm pretty sure there is but I don't know the exact one.
I always equip the Straight Pull. Pretty sure you're talking about the Target Detector, which is only available in the Final Stand DLC. I choose to use the MAV as a gadget for spotting instead.
On all of my snipers I use 6x scope and the 14x variable zoom.
Your rifle is soo steady :D apart from holding down the steady button what else is there to it ?
That's it. And practice. The faster you can get the target, the less the probability that your scope will start to sway.

They don't have ranks, you unlock their weapons and gadgets, not level them up.

It's called spotting. I'm not sure of the button layouts for the next gen consoles, but for PS3 and 360, it's the select or back button and for PC, it's Q.
I believe it's the RB or R1. With the new xb1 controller is very ingenious in that you bump the side of the RB with the middle knuckle of pointer so you never have to let go of trigger.

CL6X I think.
My fav is the L96A1 straight pull and fast enough to "almost" be a semi-auto...kinda, since the scope stays in view.
If you have the DLC, you should try the GOL Magnum. It is even faster in terms of fire rate

Steven Hoog its sorta hard finding a server on Operation firestorm or caspian border , its going to be tuff unlocking the GOL Magnum
Steven Hoog You don't need to be on top of the tower. Just go to the lowest platform of the Firestorm tower, and snipe 5 enemies. Easy unlock.

ProtoZeroEXE I've tried toggle, but hold gives me more control without worrying about either not clicking it, or clicking it too much. Simple hold for absolute control.

0m fires up close.
1,000m fires 1,000 meters away.

I think you unlocked all of the sniper rifles that can be unlocked by getting points with sniper rifles. Do the assignments for specific sniper rifles to unlock them all.
