Yes we need monetization in The Bahamas! Foreigners are making videos of The Bahamas and making thousands and we can't make a dollar in our own country doing the same thing!!!!
This will have a huge impact on The Bahamas giving people more jobs whether they have a degree or not believe me you'll see more people getting out of financial situations, so I really hope this goes through.
Hey there I am from the Bahamas as well. thank you so much for this video. I have been wanting to start a UA-cam channel of my mine and this video helps. Again thanks for this and I will reach out to you if I have any other questions.
@@StepUpScaleUp once you find your target audience, build with them find ways you can improve your content. Don't get distracted by the subscribers count, views will gradually increase. The goal is to get 4000 watch time hours and 1,000 subs to apply to get monetized. Make sure that you have a Channel Banner, profile picture, something in your about section that explains what your channel is all about. And the plus would be to have other social media accounts that connect to your UA-cam channel like: TikTok, IG, Twitter, ect. Some days are going to be better than some. But continue to push all eventually you will get there 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 keep me posted

Thanks didn't know that I could send feedback. I used to be Monetized through a third party company but the requirements are so high now for most at least. God bless everyone.
People can make a living doing Twitch and tiktok especially bahamian content creators but I agree with this as for myself being a bahamian content creator for about 6 years. I did the steps and just hope for the best that UA-cam will include The Bahamas on the monetization option.
On it. If you don't either have a VPN or a proxy outside the Bahamas youre basically doing a passion project basically. There are local ways to monetize but it's tricky.
I have been wanting to share content on UA-cam, and I have already released videos before that have made an impact, but unfortunately, there is no benefit for doing it. On another channel, I have a UA-cam video with over 25k views with 74 subscribers, but the only reason the subscribers are low is that I haven't posted on it in 7 years. I sent the feedback.
It is moreso UA-cam because getting paid via Google adsense isn't a problem when it comes to location. It's getting into the partner program on UA-cam in the first place that's a problem when it comes to 'Location - Bahamas'...but this is definitely a move in the right direction. I'll definitely share and do my part💪🏾
I think it's high time we're monetized here. So many other countries been benefiting from YPP.
We could get monetized in The Bahamas 🔥💪🏿💪🏿

Done and done for all us Bahamians who make content because there are Bahamians who lwho love to make this a job.
If they add monetization to The Bahamas I'll actually start to grind UA-cam.
👊
