It's not easy to find large hole pearls or 1.5mm leather cord (lots of 1mm and 2mm, but not much 1.5). I wasn't going to purchase from your shop because I live all the way over on the other side of the continent on the east coast of the USA and was afraid of the postage. But I've since discovered your postage rates aren't too outrageous and the exchange rate is favorable. Did someone say PEARLS?!!! I LOVE PEARLS! My go to Mermaid look……OK a plus size Mermaid……LOL……(enough) Water makes you weightless doesn’t it?! 😉😎. 37° farging degrees here, so water is on my mind……drinking it, floating in it, standing in the shower with it on cool, running through a sprinkler, soaking my feet in it…….You get the idea. I made my husband a leather bracelet with beads and turquoise a couple months ago and it has stretched a ton! I am going to redo it. Do I need to pre stretch the leather so it won’t happen again? Thank you.
I’m so glad it turned out nicely! You can’t really stretch leather or it will break. Men tend to get them wet which adds to the stretch. Make them a bit on the right side and see if that helps.
This is fabulous! How did you make the large drill holes? I have a huge box of pearls that I have collected for years, but alas, the small holes hinder my efforts ♥
I purchase them like that. You can buy an electric reamer and ream them out. It’s tedious but it can be done.
Kellie: Thank you for all of your videos. You give me inspiration. I am always looking for a "chart" that would have information on how much cording and thread to use for a bracelet. Have you ever figured out about how many inches a barrel know uses? I know different sizes of cording may be different but is there were general measurements it would be great. I am very old school and "waste not, want not" is something I was raised on so lots of left overs stress me out. I am also on a fixed income making waste a bad option.
I’ve never really figured it out but it looks like it’s about 1.25 inches for the 1.5mm

Kellie, so happy to see you looking well. Happy house! Once again you've designed something for my sister. I've had a problem finding beads with large holes. I carry a baggie of threads and leather in various diameters so I can check hole sizes. I swear some holes are so tiny I need magnifying glass to find them. [I'm 63 so this is true.] Can you suggest how to find beads/pearls with larger holes? Thank you.

I love the look of pearls and leather. Girl, you lost me when you added the two 14 inch pieces and started the barrel knot with all three pieces. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🧐🤓🤔😩😂
It was only 2 pieces that I was knotting. I added one next to each other and wrapped with the one further away. Hope that helps.

So, I need to learn to watch all of the way through first....I didn't catch the length thing at the beginning of the video and cut the 40" and two-14" lengths....and then got to the end when you said to cut the 2-14" pieces and use the rest for the necklace :-( Luckily, I am stocked up on my Kellie's 1.5mm brown leather cord ❤ I love this necklace and these pearls :)
