Pruning massive leads over a house.

- This customer just purchased this house and was concerned about the first two large leads coming off this sweetgum. While it was mostly straightforward, they were long enough that they proved a decent challenge. On one of them I lowered the wood with two ropes to prevent it from swinging dangerously close to the house.
There's a lot of great tree guys on youtube, but I learn so much from yours as a new climber. Keeping the full length footage shows so much nuance with position and moving through the tree, realistic expectations, etc. Your channel was one of the ones that inspired me to learn. Thanks!
That was way up there. Brave man. Great to watch😊😊😊😊😊😊
That has to be hard in this heat. Stay safe God bless. Always good videos.

Good job my friend
The only other tree to rival the big Elm is the Sugar Maple…very nice work.
Hay tree brother! Really like your videos! I know that when I’m working in a tree I have to concentrate on what I’m doing! You could talk about the weather or something once in a while! Lol
Great job.
good job bro , big baby
Hello...... I thought I was going to cut down the whole tree..... is there more video? If possible, I would like to see your face and know your name. Your voice is very beautiful, it sounds like an announcer..... good work as always. Hugs Sandra
It looked like there was a fair amount of dead wood in that tree, or was I mis-seeing it?
Whatever they paid you, it wasn’t enough.
old school...pruning with spurs...
@@brod4954 it's the company policy. Unfortunately I can't make the rules
@@ReallyTallTreeGuy . . Unfortunately you can't make the rules. . . why _?
@elabeba2457 I've tried to switch back to spineless pruning.
The company doesn't care, they just want it done fast, and the way they've always done it is with spikes. The "idea" is that the customer doesn't know any better so why take the effort
@@ReallyTallTreeGuygo work for someone else then that is just not good practice
@@brandon-rustystreecare I'm in the process of finding a new company. There are a variety of things I don't like about it.
You need to have a pack to strap onto your back so you can drink water whenever you need to, like cyclists use
Sounds like you are having a difficult time breathing before you started to take tree down
He ascends very quickly well above what you would consider average
