Bombing a pine
Переглядів 2,6 тис.День тому
This pine was a FAT one at the base but tapered pretty quickly. I initially thought i would have to rig most of the limbs but ended up only rigging a few. While there were a few things i could have done differently, overall it was a very smooth job.
Would you rig this pine down?

This was a call back from the customer who was expanding theie driveway. He needed a few more trees on the wdge of the marked line removed, and as such this pine ended up on the chopping block. While i vould have rigged it down and not damaged the understory, the customer said that he didnt care about any of it. Upon hearing that the foreman decided that it would all be bombed out, which is why...
Removing a tree over power line and phone cables

This customer wanted this tree removed because it was starting to crack his driveway, and he was tired of taking up leaves. While it wasn't too tall we did have to deal with avoiding a few wires that were under several branches.
Speed-lining 4 100' pine trees (Finale)
Переглядів 1,4 тис.14 днів тому
This was a fun Saturday of side work. There were 4 pines that were all around 100' tall, with the tallest about 110'. We were unable to lay them across the yard because they're was a new drain field as well as sprinklers throughout the yard. While the first two went off without a hitch the last two had a few mistakes. Because this job took all day itll be broken up into 4 parts.

BIG PINE over a power line
Переглядів 3 тис.Місяць тому
This was another tree for a return customer. The owner would have brought I'm s crane, but there was a service line coming to the house just in-between the tree and the driveway. While ordinarily we would have just bombed the wood there was a lean towards the house which is why we chose to rig the wood down.
Would you take dead tops this big?
Переглядів 2,1 тис.Місяць тому
These were the last two dead pines at this property. While we probably could have sent the entire trees, it would have been very very close to the opposite fence. As such we decided to simply send big tops out.
Rigging big wood in a tight dropzone

This tree was a fun one. We had to rig down all the branches as well as the wood because of the proximity to both the shed and the neighboring fence. Overall it went pretty smooth.
Dead pines with a LOT of room to play

In this episode we removed a dead pine. Luckily there was a lot of room for us to use which made it better. Overall it was pretty straightforward, but its always a little unnerving to be in a dead tree.
Mistakes happen, just have to be prepared

This pine probably could have been done completely without a rope, but due to the proximity of the house i determined that it would be a smarter mive to use a rope for the limbs that were just a little too large for me to hole.
When you have room..... SEND IT

This maple had a large tear out in the past, and rhe homeowner was worried it might damage their fence again, so they wanted it removed. Overall it was a pretty nice and easy one. While it looked like it would be slightly complicated when I was looking at it from the ground once I got up into it everything started to go very smoothly. Unfortunately I forgot to turn the go pro back in for the se...
