Thank you for this video. I found it very helpful!❤ Have you ever considered doing a video on scoliosis and aging? I’m not talking about all the things that can go wrong as you age. There is plenty of information out there on that topic! I’m finding that as I age, I need to be gentler with my body. I had PT for one year and learned Schroth exercises that really helped me. I find now that many of them are just too aggressive. My ribs are really sensitive and the intercostal muscles get overstretched so easily. I’ve been searching for scoliosis exercises that are a little gentler than those I’ve learned. I believe you have followers of all ages. There may be others would benefit from, a video on this. Thank you so much for all you do! It’s so nice to have people like you out there providing accurate information for people like me.😊
I am 70 and do my scroth exercises plus go to the gym to do my extra stretching and hanging. I have a 68 degree R-thoracic and 58 degree L lower lumbar curve. Lately I feel like my Rib is pinching my lung and I get short of breath. Is that normal ?
It is normal to have more stiffness through one side of the ribcage impacting breathing. A very simplistic way to help, lie on your side with that side face up, plug the opposing nostril and try to breathe into the side that feels collapsed.
Hey ma’am, I was just wondering if you were able to fix your scapular winging. I actually have the same issue-my right scapula is popped out due to scoliosis. (The scoliosis is not congenital; I developed it due to bad posture over the years.) I’m 19 and I also go to the gym, taking good care of everything else and keeping scoliosis in mind. I do not do many back exercises apart from pull-downs and rows, which barely affect the spine. But I want to fix my winged scapula and I’d appreciate it if you could reply with the correct exercises to improve the winging of my scapula. I also replied on your recent UA-cam short
