Nice to refresh my memory, I often forget to look at the ears when searching Lincoln's. I have yet to find a true double die but have found some machine doubles.

This is true new varieties are found often- it takes quite a bit of patience but can be very rewarding to search for them!

I'm pretty sure I just found a 1994 D DDO with doubling in Liberty, the date, and the D mint mark. Have you ever heard of that?
I FOUND A 92 DDO &DDR ON ALL LETTERS & AN #'S PLUS OUTLINE OF FRONT OF THE FACE,NOW THE KICKER ,ON THE DDR ALL LETTERS HAVE WHAT LOOKS LIKE MINI INDENTIONS LIKE LITTLE BUSTED BUBBLES ON THE OUTSIDE AN TOP OF ALL LETTERS AND KICKER#2 IN ON THE DDR THE LETTERS ON USA AN L FOR LIBERTY HAS RAISED 5 TO 6 STREAKS FROM RIM TO TOP OF THE USA,AN THE RIM TO SIDE OF L ON LIBERTY.IHAVE NEVER HEARD OF OR HAVE SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS ON THE NET.HOW CAN ALL OF THE HAPPEN TO A PENNY,.I HAVE CLEANED THIS PENNY AN IT WOULD PASS AS AT LEAST A MS 64.

I'm a newbie, too. There's sooooo much information to learn about. Found that if I googled a question like "What is a clad coin?", I'd get a lot of questions answered. :)
One thing you might want to google is "Coin Collecting terminology". That one "google" helped me a lot! :)

I have a 1983-D (Zinc, not CU error). The 1983-D Lincoln I have is definitely a Double Die IGWT, Especially "GOD" and TRUST" I have never seen it before and I have looked through 1000's of 1983-D's and the Double Die I have is clearly different. I have at least another 1/2 dozen other BU MS 1983-D's in holders and they clearly have different IGWT print. I see doubling the most on the "U" of TRUST and "D" of GOD. Anyone else?? It is NOT listed in the DoubleDie.com It is not Machine Doubling. It has distinct doubling letters. It is not a major DD but I clearly see it with loop and microscope. The "3" on 1983 also has a slight doubling at very bottom of the "3".
