no band even comes close to the HEAVY and uniqueness that is CROWBAR. Had a beer in the 90's with Kirk....kindred souls for sure!

Same here, man! I love knee-length shorts, especially during the summer. They're nice and cool, and they're stylish, too. I don't care for what people say about how a person should dress. I say ya gotta rock your own style, and do whatever you want to do, and if people don't like that, too bad! I'm also a huge fan of sleeveless shirts, too. They give ya Freedom to move around. Short sleeve shirts are cool, too, but I prefer sleeveless shirts. To top everything off, a good pair of hiking boots, and short black socks. It completes the look. This music is kickin'! Love the messages in songs like All I had I gave, Existence is punishment, Set me free, and Walk with Knowledge Wisely. Ol' Kirk's really got it goin' on, and the Dude Actually believes in God, so that's a major plus in my book! Always remember:Walk with Knowledge Wisely!

Lasting Dose has to be one of the top 5 all time Crowbar songs. Its fucking epic.
I’ve seen these guys live, three times. And they always get placed as the opening act. They were loud, mega crunch, and clean timing, and I always thought’ they should be the headliner. Metal with a lot of soul.!!
I've been lucky enough to catch them headlining their own tours but this year they're supporting Sepultura in the UK which is OK, but I'd prefer to see them headlining.
They're one of my favourite bands so I'll go out of my way to see them any chance I get because they are killer live, NONE HEAVIER 🤘

@@TheIronMonkey616 I have one too and I fucking love it. I picked up a 2005 (or something like that) Shecter blackjack with passive duncans on the used market like 5 years ago.
I don't even play typical 7 string music, I just want fucking heavy shit. I tune it from bottom to top like a dropped A 6 string and the highest string is tuned to fifth. Fuck it. Big ass fuzz on it or my beat to shit HM-2 AND LET'S GO.

Ibanez Destroyer at Mystic Festival 2019 in Poland (pretty sure it was Destroyer),
Dean ML Select Quilt Top (but somehow customized, gold parts instead of black, and some other pickups) at Resurrection Fest in 2014,
and here he has some Solar E(something, not sure).
Maybe someone knows some more of his guitars ;)

@@paganjay1085 If you google "Crowbar Gear" you can find a page, where are listed guitars and amps of Crowbar members. However, the gear is not super exact, like the Guitar from Ressurection Fest. On the page, there is only "Dean ML X" and link to Reverb, Amazon, eBay, and if you search - you probably won't find exact piece of gear. And, on the gear page you can see, that the Solar is his newest baby ;)

I've seen him play the Dean ML Southern Cross too. That's badass to me. I'd actually like to see him have a shootout with his Oddfellows rig vs his current rig.

That's a collection that I'd like to see myself! Kinda wonder, too, what kind of setup that the Drummer's playing. I'm a drummer myself, and maybe it's kinda old-school to say, but I'm a huge fan of Tama Drums, and Zildjan Cymbals & Hi-hats and such. One of these days, I'm gonna try to get a drumset, and it'll be Tama and Zildjan all the way! I also differ slightly from other drummers, when it comes to drumsticks. Most use 5A size drumsticks, but I prefer 7As, because they're a little lighter, but you can still get a great sound from them. Think about it:If you're doing a concert, and playing a lot of tunes, you're gonna want something a little lighter, because you're gonna have to keep playing, no matter what the temperature is, especially if it's hot outside, and you're kinda getting tired from playing all the tunes ya been playing. Anyway-That's just me talking. Have a great one!

CROWBAR Thank You. I love Crowbar so much. You've been my favorite band for over fifteen years, since I first revisited your material since being exposed from Beavis & Butthead. I'm 39 so yeah. Since I started experiencing real life, you've been by far my favorite band. Lasting dose changed my life. I got some cool stories about listening to Crowbar.
I guess we all need to hear that stories

@@xnestor1x My copy of Odd Fellow's Rest has the hand print forever stained on it from my first Halloween with my son. I drove around a lot with that cd exposed to the hot sun in my car. Well it was still hot in October and my skeleton glove I had from my son's matching Halloween costume got melted on it. That glow in the dark adhesive. I had a lot of great drives listening to that cd in solitude. I recently found out that Kirk personally likes that album most.

That’s rad you said the Beavis and Butthead thing. I saw them in Baltimore at the Ottobar in 2019 and actually met Kirk at the merch stand as he was getting a beer coosie hahaha. We had like a 5 min convo just shooting the shit and I told him I’ve been a fan since I saw them on there. He said thanx!! He was a down to earth dude and it was rad to meet an idol of mine!!

Kirks voice is shot for sure. I remember seeing them in the 90s and he still had good pitch. All them years of screaming took its toll. Still a great show none the less.
You're right i can actually hear that. It's a shame because i would really like to see them live but it will be hard to listen to him destroying he's own songs. Still a great band and i love listen to they're songs.

Love Crowbar! Kirk is such a bad ass super cool dude! Saw Down in Dallas a few weeks ago and he came out the gate and took a picture with my wife, signed her shirt and talked to us for a few minutes. Great moment and memory I’ll cherish forever! Thanks Kirk!!!! Sludge 4 ever!

Hey man. I live in Tulsa! I've seen Crowbar damn near every time they've been here! Lol! One of my favorite concerts was Pantera with White Zombie opening for them at the Cabaret theater in 91? 92? Something like that. Pretty sure I was at that concert too. With COC.

He's gone on record saying it is missing that special something that his Randall always delivers.
I bought an Orange from him recently and I’ll say it sounds so good I can’t imagine anything being better
Hes rolled with randall for a good minute with crowbar, down i think he played orange though.
As far as i know, he has used solid state Randalls with crowbar from pretty much the beginning, while with Down he used orange amps. Then at some point, Orange contacted him for endorsing their CR120 solid state and he used it with Crowbar. He must have returned to his beloved Randall.
Are both guitars being run though Randall solid state heads in this video?

@@slumpnmyrump4986 its confusing. He rejoined 2 years ago, then retired from touring. Kirk said Todd was still a member & would record albums; however, the new Crowbar album is done, and Todd didnt record on it (the guy in this video did). So who knows
