- I recently purchased from a few black owned brands on #BlackoutTuesday so I wanted to come and talk to you guys about my first impressions as I install my #ProtectiveStyle for the next few weeks. #JumboGoddessBraids
Obviously I'm not saying ONLY these brands care about us lol These are just some of the ones that impressed me with how they stepped up to the plate/reacted as everything started to unfold with the uprising.

lawd yes! I've got a couple on my list to try. And honestly, the new formula wetline still works for me so that's probably what I'll be using until I find anything else as comparable/accessible.

I like to use DIY flaxseed gel when I do my twists and braids. It holds the hair in place while retaining moisture and nourishing my hair. Unlike commercial gels...
