1:32 in Rocksteady’s defence, long story short Deathstroke was meant to have an Origins style rematch boss fight but WB basically said “release game, or no game at all” and forced their hand to release the game when they asked for a second delay to even further into 2015/ early 16, Rocksteady also needed to rewrite 90% of the story from the part where Oracle gets taken by Jason because of having to help out WB Montreal and giving them assets like skins, gadgets that were actually made for Knight to help them finish the game because they were struggling, even looking into the files, characters such as Prometheus, Black Mask and Zsasz were cut from the game’s main story and season of infamy, Batman was supposed to have a usable gas mask and fear darts, and the Militia were supposed to have vehicles such as suicide cars and suicide Pursuit drones. Robin and Nightwing were also meant to be playable in the open world and game director Sefton Hill said they even toyed wit the idea of 2 player Co op between the different characters but would only do it if A. Actually doable and B. If they had time, Rocksteady clearly wanted to do a lot more than what they planned to do with the game but due to time constraints and pressure from up high they couldn’t

reading this brings tears to my eyes about the game that we couldve got. No doubt in my mind that Rocksteady wouldve delivered all this (except maybe co op) if given the time!
To be honest some of the games in 2023 graphics are nothing compared to this game and it still holding up strong so I can guarantee it’ll hold up even until 2025

Honestly yeah, graphically it definitely will but overall i believe it will basically sit up there with the 2024 lineup. I believe it will since 2024 has some great games coming out. The fact its a 2015 game that, if you never played it before or heard of it, looks like a recent game just goes to show how ahead of its time it really was.
I just recently went back and got 240% with the Pattinson Batman skin and it was a refreshing experience because the skin fit the story perfectly for it’s dark tone and it was great seeing The Batman in the cutscenes. For me this game still holds up compared to recent triple a releases

I have to agree with this video you bring up good points! Although. I would say the side-quests for Arkham Knight were the most “fun” besides the riddler trophies. Arkham Knight actually had the best quests and DLC honestly. They brought some good side villains for this game! (Except death strokes fight)
Oh most definitely! Tis the season to scare the begeesus out of criminal filth! I’ve been playing for the past week and discovered some new moves and missions! Plus, Rocksteady is still adding DLC.
in my opinion Batman Arkham Knight has a bunch of ups and downs there are things that this game does great, and somethings the other Arkham games does a bit different. So, starting with the main story. So i like to play the Arkham games in order like even though this is not the precise order of the games but I like to play Origins, Asylum, City, Knight because if you play the games in order the story of Arkham Knight makes a little bit more interesting and a little bit more sense than it would by just playing Arkham Knight out of nowhere but anyway this is how I feel about the main story then I will talk about the side missions. So the game starts with you cremating joker then Gordon will comment (THIS IS HOW IT HAPPPENED THIS IS HOW THE BATMAN DIED) Then he will give a brief story on how Gotham has been since joker dying then you have the diner then scarecrow fear gas makes everyone kill each other then the city gets evacuated then that's when the real work begins that's all good no complaints about the opening moments then the main story starts off with really nothing much I feel the main story doesn't start to pick up until after ACE Chemicals blows up to be honest in my opinion the best moments is from the start until probably the end of Staggs airships my reason is because in those moments a lot of things happen unexpectedly for examples at Ace Chemicals when you are moving the canisters Joker appears behind you out of nowhere on Miagani Island the man bat screeches at your face both the batmobile and the new bat suit come as a Suprise after staggs airships it starts to bring out more of the things that you have done more and more like with the side missions after ace chemicals riddlers mission begins more constantly the first militia bomb is placed then from that point on more and more are placed as the game goes on same with the checkpoints and watchtowers then you have the other villains like penguin, two face, firefly and the list goes on moving on to the boss battles and side missions so in the game there are a few boss battles that I feel could've been improved so starting both with Deathstroke and Arkham Knight If you notice during the game they both talk about wanting a real fight like hand on hand battle but when it finally gets to the moment both where really disappointing with the Arkham Knight boss battle it felt like just another stealth battle you need to move through Arkham Knight HQ then sneak under him to attack him and with Deathstroke he keeps talking about the boss fight they had in Arkham origins and he wants something like that and then when it's time to fight it's just another tank battle i feel that there could've been a lot more added to the game i just feel like rocksteady didn't have much time in the game

They recently slowed down the combat again, and it kinda ruined the game for me. I haven't played since 2016 so I tried it again and couldn't fight well at all. I didn't want to dig through Steam depots so instead I just re-bought the game on GOG (which hasn't been updated in 4 years).

Also in both versions of the game I could never figure out how to counter the bladed enemies 😭

I think that’s a resounding yes after the early release and soon to be release of live service suicide squad.
This will get a new breath of life and likely love compared to that debacle.
