I recently found this pod and have been listening to all of them Jeff good stuff man. In my high school years I was moving stuff, wasn't a king pin by any means but was certainly making cash for being 16 or 17. I eventually got popped like we all do and I always wondered how I'd handle it. I had others snitch on me and write statements. I was offered a deal and chose not to snitch. I don't think I'm hard or anything I just personally looked at it like I did this I made the choices ill have to deal with the consequences of my actions. I was lucky I only had to sit down for a little bit but the year and change probably saved my life. I can understand how guys rat to some extent, jail or prison isn't a place for anyone man. I wasn't facing 10 plus like these guys so I can't say how'd I feel. I see both sides certainly l. I think it is hilarious all the tough guys in here calling guys rats in the comments when they'd do the same when they are getting time thrown at them.
@@zsutton6687 I think what really started the snitching and flipping was the advent of RICO and dudes getting football to basketball numbers for their crimes. Some get really sweetheart deals like gravano, who deserves to still be locked up. I’ve also heard a few instances where the guys get to keep their money. The whole family and honor thing fell apart quick when guys were getting hemmed up and would only have to do small sentences if they told on the next guy. This is what really decimated the Mob.
Not everyone is a snitch some keep there honour and keep quiet some like sonny black even try to die with honour perhaps it's something u can only be born with and not learnt
Damn man this is my go to!!! Over all of the others!!! And I really gave em all both ears!!! And I also will go across the pond and tune into my OC buddy!!! He’s damn good too!!! I’m just saying Yo!!! Saginaw in the House!!!
Barney bellomo or joey Merlino aren’t big time ? Massino folded when the pressure came ….. Vinny gorgeous I also believe was just as capable and would’ve been a better boss honestly which is why I think is one of the reasons he flipped he was threatened by him taking the family from him
I was in the same unit with joe massino and Barney bellomo at the same time I knew massino was going to flip once the brought him a big box of audio tapes to listen to .. and two days later they came n took him out of the unit everybody else was shocked n I said it .. once I seen him with that box of tapes I knew he was telling Barney slept on the top tear .. they were making joe massino coffee n bagels n shit n he flipped .. damn shame
seriously when u think of a mobster. my vote goes to kid twist and even the name ,u just think ,(in the voice of jim carrey in the mask)A TOMMY GUN 🤣🤣🤣
i would never fucking snitch, however, i dont hold it against those who do , when there so called friends fuck them over . but one way or another i would get my revenge in this life or the next . death before dishoner
Whats worse Is, I hear Prior to Joe Flippin, Vinny that was His Guy so Imagine Idiolizing this Guy only for it your Idol to turn around & Sell up the river.
You say he was an 'earner' and was doing good. But he needed to borrow 10k from Joseph 'Do Do' Pastore? Why would he need to borrow any money and then commit murder' I believe you are wrong about that.
You guys gave a lot of excuses for his flipping like nobody was hurt that I’m pretty sure vinny Gorgeous would disagree with and the fact Massino had the audacity to talk shit about gotti as a gangster when all gotti did was do what tons of bosses did before him which is not hide that he’s a gangster, and he went to prison for life in a box for 23 hrs a day. Yeah massinos legacy is done in that world and every boss that came before him if they could would put a contract on him fs
