Because of you and the other hair chemist I follow BMS, Polyquaternium-10, aloe and glycerin are what I look for religiously. My hair is thriving with these ingredients.
Have you found all 3 in a one conditioner?
Yesss! Thank you for sharing!
@HrhSophia TheFirst, you have to share!!! What do YOU use?!
@@janwig9347 Oh well...she didn't reply back, darn!
which conditioner do you use dear
Pronounce those terms ma'am!! WOO rule your business. 👏👏 TFS!
Thank you!! 😆
TEAM AUSSIE MOIST!! Hands down the best cheapie conditioner for my relaxed hair. BMS is one of my favourite ingredients to look out for when looking for a DC. Awesome video!
Thank you! 💜
Yes I love Aussie, people are sleeping on this conditioner.
@@memelove9821 couldn’t agree more!!👏🏾👏🏾
I have to try it….I think when I used it a couple of years ago it left a coating on my hair that made its sticky and dull.
Me too. I love the Avocado and JoJoba Oil conditioner.
thank you for keeping us well informed
Thanks for sharing ! 😊 Always looking for natural ingredients.
😁so inspired by you those BIG words just roll off your tongue. You are so helpful with your information on hair. Thanks💞🌹😍
Thank you! ☺️💜
Yes! I absolutely love how the words just roll off of her tongue! So intelligent.
Yay, my Suave made it on the list lol I've been using Suave since childhood (I'm 26) and the shea one since it came out. I'm not one to spend more than a couple dollars on conditioner or shampoo.
Hello Ms. Curly Chemistry!! I used the whole Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Set yesterday. The whole set from the Shampoo to the Leave-In Conditioner plus the Blue Magic Hair Grease and these products moisturized my high porosity hair so well 😊😊!! Thank you Ms.Curly Chemistry, you the bomb!!👍🏾👍🏾🤗🤗🤗
Team Shea Moisture Manukau deep conditioning mask! I won’t buy no other deep conditioner. I’m in love!!!!!
love that you know your stuff! As for a conditioner, I'm looking for something that will hydrate and will detangle, and soften the hair.
I couldn’t tell you which ingredient is my favorite, however my favorite conditioner is Mane n Tail! It makes my curls so soft, especially after I rinse it out. 💕💕
I’m loving Taraji’s Make It Rain because it’s very moisturizing but light and Shea Moisture Manucha Oil Honey leaves my hair oh so soft! I use both as my deep conditioner with steaming. Steaming has been amazing for my low porosity hair. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!!!
Look forward to your videos🤗so happy to see the Aussie moist conditioner. Loveeeeee this conditioner. Enjoyed the shampoo video as well. Thank you for sharing this amazing content.
I never would have guessed those conditioners. Love your work!
Thank youuu! 💜
You are amazing! Love your channel and all your help! You are so nice and real. Thank you!👌🏽
Thank you!! 💜
Because of you my Hair Growth experience is much better. Aussie Moist is my fav I literally have everything except the shampoo.
Love your videos, they have helped me so much on my journey 😊 I definitely love me some Shea Moisture Manuka Honey + Marula Hair Mask💖
I am in Walmart as I type this buying the Suave and Aussie. It’s hair weekend and I am in desperate need of a slippery detangling conditioner. (I already have the first one). Thank you for this video!!!
Thank you for this information. I recently have been very bad with maintaining a healthy hair...don't get me wrong, I recently got busy with my small business (body butters, a men's line and soap making) so something went lacking...my hair which I wear natural for the past 3 years on my natural journey. I got to a good noticeable length, and then my products took over and I neglected my hair...and it's moisture that I need. So, I have been listening to your videos and so glad that you did a talk on moisturizing. My business is small so right now I do everything myself, but I must get back to giving my hair more love. Thank you so much!👍🏽👍🏽😍😍💞💞
I've only tried 2 on your list. The Aussie is my favorite. I now want to try the Suave and maybe revisit the Shea Moisture mask.
I'm gonna try these! Have a great weekend!
Thanks you too!
Hey beauty! Two of my fav moisturizing products contain beet sugar, but what I look for always depends on what else is in the formulation! Thanks & have a lovely weekend! xo 😘
Thank you, thank you for these videos on products. I struggle because of my tightly coiled 4c hair. The manuka is one of my staples and I will definitely try the Aussie to detangle in the shower. You are awesome!
Thank youu!
Love you and love it! You helped me save a lot of money with your channel!
My Holy Grail conditioner is the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. I don't know what it is but it makes my hair super nice to detangle. It is discontinued in Belgium though, and The Netherlands, but I recently found a drugstore that still had a batch and just about bought 56 bottles in total now (spread over 6 months). I love it *that much* and I don't mess around with conditioner!
Aussie moist is baeee for detangling and I always have that shea moisture Manuka honey mask in my stash 😍 I am interested in ethnic gal but I do wish there were more reviews on UA-cam before buying it
Although alot of hair gurus frown upon using glyercin, I love it. Thanks to your videos, I have a few more ingredients to look out for!
You’re welcome! 💜
Very, very informative video. Can you do a video including single strand knots and if there is any way around them? Thanks
Great information! Great presentation! Thanks!
I love the way you break down ingredients, your scientific viewpoint and positivity! I binge watch your videos. My fave ingredients are BMS, aloe and glycerin. My hair loves them. Thank you for your content!
Thank you Catina! 💜💜
Same!!!! Love the educational piece of the products!! And I’m a chemistry nerd too. She is awesome!!!! 🌺🌺🌺 binging!!!!
I’m so excited for this video because I agree conditioner is very important. Tyfs. Love Aussie Moist Conditioner. I always look for conditioners that have Aloe Vera.
Nice. I love aloe too!
What Citric Acid does to the hair ?
I love Aussie conditioner. It makes your hair so soft
Hello
Thanks for bringing up this question. I live Slip in a conditioner thick enough to detangle and stay out and not drip off. One conditioner that will bring 4C hair to life!
First All Things Adrienne, then Yaya Diy Creations now Curly Chemistry! I FEEL BLESSED TODAY!!! YESSS!!! COME THROUGH with the good hair advice Tonya👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽
Thank you!! ☺️
Love this video. I look for ingredients like aloe vera, water, Shea butter, honey, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium methodulfate, behentrimonium chloride, Avacado oil, mornings oil and other amazing ingredients. I look for products that I know will nourish and make my hair feel soft. I have been using Shea Moisture Manuka Honey Marula hair mask for awhile now. I also have TPH Make It Rain Conditioner and the Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner. They are all amazing. I rememberer you recommended the TPH Make it rain. And you were right. It's awesome. Thank you for sharing. Blessings ❤️❤️🙏
Thank you for this video 🥰💙💕.. I am going to try the Aussie conditioner..
I got the Aussie as well and shampoo, along with their products. Could PLEASE do a video on good leave in conditioners!!???
My all time fave rinse out conditioner is Renpure Coconut Cream Nourishing Coconut Conditioner, it is super moisturizing and has amazing slip. Regardless of how dry and matted my hair is I can detangle all of my hair in under 10 mins. When I run out of deep conditioner, I substitute with this and it always leaves my hair moisturized, soft and defined. I've tried it out on friends and different relatives' hair and it works the same. I have low porosity hair 3c/4a btw.
Here's a list of some of the ingredients for anyone interested
Purified Water, Cetyl Alcohol (Palm Oil [Derived Source]), Glyceryl Stearate (Palm Oil [Derived Source]), Behentrimonium Chloride (Rapeseed Oil [Derived Source]), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut [Derived Source]) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan [Derived Source] Kernel Oil, Malpighia Glabra (Acerola [Derived Source]) Fruit Extract
Hi! May I ask where you purchase this product from? I can’t seem to find the Renpure brand in any of my local stores
Great video, thanks! Any shea moisture mask. They are my go to's
Yesss! It’s so good!
I prefer products with either Avocado or Aloe Vera in it, and yes you will find Aussie Moist is a Staple as well it loves my Curls
Honey, my hair loves honey! I use that SM & Aussie (I add organic honey). Great vid!
Will try the Suave. I see Suave has entered the curly hair market
They have! 😆
Silk and silicone,Aloe.Thxx for all your advices on natural hair.🥰
Hello Tonya~
The one ingredient I look for in my conditioner and deep conditioner is HONEY. Honey is awesome and keeps my hair moisturized. Blessings upon you!🥰
Love honey!
Got to save up , wait for a sale or discount! Inflation is a factor. Thanks for the education.
You’re welcome!
I'm always looking for aloe, glycerin, and behentrimonium in my conditioners. My fav conditioners are Carol's daughter wash day delight jelly to cream conditioner, Discovery Naturals Henna Happiness conditioner and Nubian heritage indian hemp vegan deep conditioner
Thank you for the info! 🙋🏾♀️ Aloe Vera is my go-to. And I love Aussie!!
Very informative...thank you! I do like the Aussie Moist. Have you ever tried Giovanni?
If anyone knows what ingredients low porosity hair (tends to) dislike, or knows of a video/UA-camr please lmk! ❤️ thanks to this channel I’ve learned I was avoiding ingredients that actually may work for my hair, which is why I haven’t found staple products for my natural 4c hair since my big chop in 2014 😮💨😭 I’ll do a protective style, my hair grows she’s thick she’s happy…I go natural for a few months & she completelyyy breaks off. It’s actually depressing 🥺🥲
Can't say if it's THE one, but Babassu oil in products is good to my hair. Oh, and glycerin and water formulations, especially in gels, work really well too.
Greetings! I have naturally wavy/curly hair that is 50% gray. I am White. My hair is shoulder length and I got a PERM… to “help” me manage my hair. I had an accident and have had both of my upper arms broken with shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff damage. Fixing my hair was very difficult because of limited arm range of motion. I WANTED larger rollers for the perm…but the Stylist felt smaller would do better. I’m 2 1/2 months out and I HATE it. I feel like a total FUZZ HEAD. Thank you for all the great information you provide on your channel!
The Shea Moisture one is really the truth!!
The one ingredient I look for is behentrimonium methosulfate because you taught me the benefits of it and my hair loves it. I also look for amidoamines because I have a skin allergy to that group. So you'll see me reading the ingredients on EVERYTHING 😳 not just hair products lol
Love your videos!
Yessss! BTMS is great and my hair loves it too! 💯 🙌🏾
My hair is color treated and I noticed that my hair loves products with Cetyl alcohol as one of the first three ingredients so I love this conditioner called Trader Joe’s nourish spa and it’s $3.99
Yeah and they're jojoba oil was $3.99 until I started buying it and then it went up to $7.99 oh and that was before the pandemic oh, well before the pandemic
That Trader Joe’s joint is the truth!! Tangles instantly melt away!!
Omg yes that conditioner was my fav! Now they stopped making it😒
@@denisebigsbee5488 Omg they stopped making it? That sucks...it's so much better than the tea tree tingle conditioner
My goodness who put a thumbs down! This is a good video on conditioners 💕💕💕
I guess because of the silicone in most of the conditioners she recommended 🤭
Happy Friday 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Happy Friday!!
Nice to see that I'm using two of the five conditioners listed. My hair is extremely dense, so I need the extra slip during my hair days--two per week. Without slip, I'd be fully bald by now because I would cut off all my hair. The thickness and rapid growth causes me major grief once I reach the 12 to 16 inches in length. Good conditioners are my friends. Thanks for sharing this list.
Nice! You didn't mention the one that you'r currently using. Please
Thank you as always
I’ve already tried two that you suggested and liked them now on to the other three 😂
Woo hoo!!
You are so informative. I had been going to this derm for over year. Only thing he gave me for my itchy scalp is medicated shampoo and oil. It is not working. It is only itch in certain area. I do use a moisturizing shampoo after using medicated shampoo. It is not working. When I wash my hair it lk so pretty and curly afterwards it is dry I am getting tired of my dried hair shredding hair and itchy scalp.
Thank you for this video❤❤
You’re welcome!
I love ❤️ love TGIN hair mask, thee best I ever used.
I feel like you were watching me cause this is what am searching for now cause the one I use to use I need a better one , thank you .
Can you do a video about ingredients/products that help with brittle hair?
I look for honey in my conditioner. I did a diy where I added honey to my condition one time and I retained so much moisture for a longer time.
But, won't honey lighten your natural hair color?
@@kristinenyinna1827 so far my hair is the same dark black color
The one thing I look for is Argon oil because my hair hate it and so I have to make sure it is not in the product. I'm really interested in trying some of these products.
I'm using Dr bronner as shampoo it's a good brand but I got it for bathing and needed to get something that's actually for my hair and I think I'll try the suave almond shea butter as a set thanks for the advice
Great video 👍 What about xanthan gum?
Man listen🗣 AUSSIE IS WHERE ITS AT SIS! 🙌🏽
Hey lady! After watching your last video, it made me wonder about how I moisturize my scalp. So, I’m curious to know what you think about the Head & Shoulders Royal Oil Daily Moisture Scalp Cream. I personally love it, but I wanna know if it’s actually good for my scalp. What are your thoughts??
Edit: PLEASE RESPOND LOL
I dont know if you already did a video for this but could you make a video on thinning hair for poeple in their 40's and why do woman's hair change after having babies. Your content is superb!
Shea moisture I been using since day one, second one my pocketbook not right yet bc I don’t do ones, I do in twos, Aussie I use the leave in, I’m set for awhile with that one and I also have Tarajhai, thanks 😊
Thank you!
Thanks for the tips! Did you do your hair yourself? It looks great. What type of hair did you use?
Aussie for the win. It’s great for wigs n natural hair. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I guess I have to stick to one conditioner to seek what works for my hair !
I am using a formulate shampoo and conditioner right now!
Love the video as always you do the damn thang with educating on the ingredients mean so we always know what to look for in products. No I'm gonna replay it so I can write all this the ingredients down 😑 😊 😃
Thank you! 💜
I look for the ingredients to avoid first. Then if they have Jojoba and/or grapeseed oil Then we have a winner😄
Great advice!
Same! If any product has Shea butter, it’s a no-go.
@@quanitawinters-tyler3770
Same here! My hair and body both despise shea butter. It's like No Ma'am! 🚫 They are arch enemies and will never play on the same team. And the crazy thing is that almost all hair products on the market have shea butter in them. There are so many other great ingredients available, but shea butter is cheap and that's the main reason companies use it. The better butters are way more expensive. But, I'm willing to pay for quality if my hair loves it.
Can we talk about henna and alma powders PLEASE!
Love your videos and how informative they. Have you heard of beanstalk oil ? My friend says it grew her hair fast. Can you check out the ingredients for please. Thank you.
TY for this video. Very informative. I have one question. Are these conditioners compatible with adding aruyvedic herb powders like Alma, Moringa or others?
So I received my huge very inexpensive bottle of the suave almond and Shea butter conditioner. I was shook at the size unfortunately for me yesterday was wash day so I’ll have to contain my excitement until next week or so. Since you’re in love with this conditioner is there a shampoo in the same family as this or a shampoo and other moisturizing products that you adore as much?
First of all I love your channel!!! I am not a loose natural I have sister locs. Would you recommend any of these on locs or what would you recommend???
Be careful with conditioning your locs(can cause buildup). I was SL for years and clarifying shampoo and then a spray leave in helped maintain the softness weekly worked for me. When I cut them last year I checked the Loc cores and I little to no build up.
Girlll!!! BTMS!!! DA SLIP!
Periodt! 😆
@curlychemistry
I love your channel. I’m shaving my head on my birthday. I’m not going through anything and it’s not a fashion statement. I just have a deep urge to shave my hair off. It’s a liberating thing. I have 4C&B hair. It’s shoulder length and healthy. I’ve never had short hair. So, being bald is a uncharted territory. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO TAKE CARE OF MY SCALP AND STUBBLES AS MY HAIR STARTS TO GROW BACK? Thank you. :-)
Thank you for this! I often wonder, since we (low porosity) are strongly advised to deep condition each time we wash our hair, when would we really use a conditioner? 🤔
I been stopped using regular conditioner
Thanks for this video. As with all of the videos that I have watched it's super informative. Do these products work for grey hair?😺
Yes! ☺️
Nice video!
Ooh, looking forward to this! Along with detanglers, I’m still searching for a good conditioner (leave-in, to be exact) to be my new staple-one where hopefully I won’t have to use a bunch of other products to supplement it, ya know?
Proclaim shea butter conditioner!
TGIN Miracle Repair leave in transforms my 4c strands into silk, not one single strand knot
since usage… I still can’t believe my hair is 100% effortless to detangle now….
I just started using As I Am Classic Leave-In and it's so good! It detangles, it's not waxy or greasy, smells good and a little goes a long way.
TGIN Super Moist is good too just like As I Am
I like Giovanni direct leave in conditioner
@@southerngurlz5027 yes the TGIN green tea leave in is great for me. I also have 4 c hair and low density
Can you please do a video for split ends? As in how to avoid them or what to do if you have EXTREME split ends? P.S. I have a 4c hair and different types of split ends. I’m seriously thinking of shaving my hair off 😭
Thank you for this info-video on recommended natural hair-care products. I was surprised that one of your recommendations has silicone, which I thought was a "no-no" for natural hair (I would've really liked it if you had elaborated a bit more on the one with silicone). Overall, I will be looking into several of your recommendations--especially "Ethnic Gal" products (new one for me that peaked curiosity). Thanks again and keep up the great work! :)
She likes silicone 😏 check out her videos
I am all about conditioning ❤️
Argan oil is the one ingredient I look for in a conditioner
Thank you so much
TGIN on a normal wash day. Aussie on a rushed day when i need a lot. That TGIN must last. Suave and Creme of Nature when im mixing stuff up or detangling or need some protein. Goldewell Just Smooth after swimming at the gym. Been on Aussie since 2012.
For ingredient, aloe vera, honey, fewer cones, olive oil.
I love Aussie Miracle Moist for my girls.
I found it! The Pattern Beauty deep treatment
Water 💦 Is The No.1 Ingredient I Look For!!!👍😊
Great video
Which one would you suggest is best for a toddler?
