Thank you for this information. I recently have been very bad with maintaining a healthy hair...don't get me wrong, I recently got busy with my small business (body butters, a men's line and soap making) so something went lacking...my hair which I wear natural for the past 3 years on my natural journey. I got to a good noticeable length, and then my products took over and I neglected my hair...and it's moisture that I need. So, I have been listening to your videos and so glad that you did a talk on moisturizing. My business is small so right now I do everything myself, but I must get back to giving my hair more love. Thank you so much!👍🏽👍🏽😍😍💞💞

It is discontinued in Belgium though, and The Netherlands, but I recently found a drugstore that still had a batch and just about bought 56 bottles in total now (spread over 6 months). I love it *that much* and I don't mess around with conditioner!

My all time fave rinse out conditioner is Renpure Coconut Cream Nourishing Coconut Conditioner, it is super moisturizing and has amazing slip. Regardless of how dry and matted my hair is I can detangle all of my hair in under 10 mins. When I run out of deep conditioner, I substitute with this and it always leaves my hair moisturized, soft and defined. I've tried it out on friends and different relatives' hair and it works the same. I have low porosity hair 3c/4a btw.
Here's a list of some of the ingredients for anyone interested
Purified Water, Cetyl Alcohol (Palm Oil [Derived Source]), Glyceryl Stearate (Palm Oil [Derived Source]), Behentrimonium Chloride (Rapeseed Oil [Derived Source]), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut [Derived Source]) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan [Derived Source] Kernel Oil, Malpighia Glabra (Acerola [Derived Source]) Fruit Extract

Greetings! I have naturally wavy/curly hair that is 50% gray. I am White. My hair is shoulder length and I got a PERM… to “help” me manage my hair. I had an accident and have had both of my upper arms broken with shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff damage. Fixing my hair was very difficult because of limited arm range of motion. I WANTED larger rollers for the perm…but the Stylist felt smaller would do better. I’m 2 1/2 months out and I HATE it. I feel like a total FUZZ HEAD. Nice to see that I'm using two of the five conditioners listed. My hair is extremely dense, so I need the extra slip during my hair days--two per week. Without slip, I'd be fully bald by now because I would cut off all my hair. The thickness and rapid growth causes me major grief once I reach the 12 to 16 inches in length. Good conditioners are my friends. Thanks for sharing this list.

Same here! My hair and body both despise shea butter. It's like No Ma'am! 🚫 They are arch enemies and will never play on the same team. And the crazy thing is that almost all hair products on the market have shea butter in them. There are so many other great ingredients available, but shea butter is cheap and that's the main reason companies use it. The better butters are way more expensive. But, I'm willing to pay for quality if my hair loves it.

TY for this video. Very informative. I have one question. Are these conditioners compatible with adding aruyvedic herb powders like Alma, Moringa or others?

So I received my huge very inexpensive bottle of the suave almond and Shea butter conditioner. I was shook at the size unfortunately for me yesterday was wash day so I’ll have to contain my excitement until next week or so. Since you’re in love with this conditioner is there a shampoo in the same family as this or a shampoo and other moisturizing products that you adore as much?

First of all I love your channel!!! I am not a loose natural I have sister locs. Would you recommend any of these on locs or what would you recommend???

    • @TraceTrace25
      @TraceTrace25 2 роки тому

Be careful with conditioning your locs(can cause buildup). I was SL for years and clarifying shampoo and then a spray leave in helped maintain the softness weekly worked for me. When I cut them last year I checked the Loc cores and I little to no build up.

I love your channel. I’m shaving my head on my birthday. I’m not going through anything and it’s not a fashion statement. I just have a deep urge to shave my hair off. It’s a liberating thing. I have 4C&B hair. It’s shoulder length and healthy. I’ve never had short hair. So, being bald is a uncharted territory. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO TAKE CARE OF MY SCALP AND STUBBLES AS MY HAIR STARTS TO GROW BACK? Thank you. :-)

Thank you for this! I often wonder, since we (low porosity) are strongly advised to deep condition each time we wash our hair, when would we really use a conditioner? 🤔

Ooh, looking forward to this! Along with detanglers, I’m still searching for a good conditioner (leave-in, to be exact) to be my new staple-one where hopefully I won’t have to use a bunch of other products to supplement it, ya know?

TGIN Miracle Repair leave in transforms my 4c strands into silk, not one single strand knot
since usage… I still can’t believe my hair is 100% effortless to detangle now….

I just started using As I Am Classic Leave-In and it's so good! It detangles, it's not waxy or greasy, smells good and a little goes a long way.
TGIN Super Moist is good too just like As I Am

Thank you for this info-video on recommended natural hair-care products. I was surprised that one of your recommendations has silicone, which I thought was a "no-no" for natural hair (I would've really liked it if you had elaborated a bit more on the one with silicone). Overall, I will be looking into several of your recommendations--especially "Ethnic Gal" products (new one for me that peaked curiosity). Thanks again and keep up the great work! :)

TGIN on a normal wash day. Aussie on a rushed day when i need a lot. That TGIN must last. Suave and Creme of Nature when im mixing stuff up or detangling or need some protein. Goldewell Just Smooth after swimming at the gym. Been on Aussie since 2012.
For ingredient, aloe vera, honey, fewer cones, olive oil.
