Ok. I have my doubts, but if Machine Games' other outings are anything to go by, I think there is a high chance of this game being one of the greatest Indiana Jones experience of all time, especially since you'll be directly in the shoes of the man himself.

If this can build upon what the Tomb Raiders and Uncharteds from before have done, this can be good. Good puzzle solving, resource management, with immersive cut scenes, with solid acting and story telling. The VA impersonating Mr. Ford is pretty convincing. I can tell im gonna be hovering over walk through guides just to find all the secrets

Man, 2024 has been a very good year for gamers. We had Helldivers 2, Manor Lords and recent KCD2 announcement which I'll definitely be sinking my life into when it launches, and now this. This looks really promising.
Hopefully there will be the option to play in 3rd person. I personally can’t stand 1st person games. It’d be one thing if it was a true POV like VR or something, but regular video game 1st person is just way too narrow of a field of view. At this point, there is no reason games shouldn’t just offer both fields of view.

Actually, a lot of the sort of temple/dungeon visuals in this trailer reminded me a lot of the dungeons in the older AC games. My mom has been the biggest fan of Indiana Jones and last year we went to watch the latest movie Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny in the cinema and it was her first time at the cinema. Because of her, I am big a fan of Indiana Jones and Im so excited to tell her about this now.
The very first movie I saw with my dad in the movie theater that wasn't a children's movie was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. 35 years later it's my all time favorite move because of that. It's on TV all the time and I can still hear my dad laughing during the funny parts. I hope you can look back in 35 years and do the same.
Todd always seems like he truly wants to bless gamers with things that he believes will be special for us. The execution doesn't always turn out great, but can't really blame him for all of that. I think this will be a good one for lifelong-fans of Indy like me. Those movies are responsible for my love of history and archeology today.

Their games just ooze with Style and Uniqueness rarely seen, being it in Movie or Videogame Format. I really hope they will Capitalize on their ability of putting the player in unforgettable moments. Think of Seeing the Volkshalle, Walking Through Nazi Occupied Roswell, Infiltrating Camp Belica, the Berlin Train Scene, Discovering about space history London Nautica, Mowing Down Nazis in a Wheelchair etc. , that's some awe dropping stuff.

I’ve liked all the Indiana Jones games I’ve played, even Staff of Kings and raiders of the lost ark on the Atari 2600 (I’m old). My favourite though has always been The infernal machine simply because it was a tomb raider inspired game with Indy. I will get this but I would have preferred it as third person rather than first person. First person shooters are fantastic but I really don’t think action adventure games work well in first person. Shame they don’t include an option to play it either first or third person.
Its a good thing considering the studio. Their previous games have been 1st person, with some 3rd person climbing in the Riddick games. Its what they're good at. I think they should stick to what they know when trying to make the best Indiana Jones game. They have proven they can handle 1st person melee combat.

They did a great job with exploring more in depth character traits with BJ in the Wolfenstein games, they took that lore and expanded it in a great way, just like they did with Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.
Emperor's Tomb will still be my favorite. The sounds of punches, whip, guns and music are similar to the movie, and most importantly, it's 3rd person, it feels like it's part of the movie. If they will make this new Indy game a 3rd person, I would love it too.
The first person angle seemed a bit iffy, but everything else looks so good that I don't even mind it anymore, I always loved the idea of optional puzzles, and integrating the whip this much into the game is also really cool!
Regardless of what people think of this game, this all hits right at home for me. My big brother, our friends & I, used to watch the movies almost every weekend back in the 90's. Indy, & Han was a hero to us. I'm excited to see how this game turns out.

I'll give them a chance, as I always try to do. (Though, let's face it, if you want a true Indiana Jones esque gaming experience, Nathan and Lara give sharp competition).

I don't really feel like this is going to be a game with much room for substantial mods. Not really much you can mod on a game with a linear story and game world.
Just don't make multiple editions, one fully packed edition is enough. Maybe a cool collectors edition box with the physical game disc and a cool item like an artifact, something that belongs in a museum or the Hat.
You know its Troy Baker, but if you close your eyes for a second you can visualize Mr. Ford. He's done a great job imo.
