- I love any event that involves food esp celebrations and holidays but sometimes you need that asian fix lol! I developed this CHINESE SAUSAGE STUFFING recipe for my family, and my argentine fiancé's family to enjoy together. I hope you like it as much as we do! I N G R E D I E N T S
8 cups bread cubes, dried (toast at 300 degrees for 1 hour)
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup celery, sliced
4 cloves garlic, grated or finely minced
1/4 cup woodear mushrooms (optional), rehydrated & rough chopped
4 chinese sausage links, casings removed and sliced at an angle into 1/2" pieces
1 spicy (or sweet) link of Italian sausage, casing removed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 stick unsalted butter + 1 nub for greasing the baking dish
LIQUID INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups low sodium chicken/vegetable stock
1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
1/2 teaspoon sage, chopped
2 tablespoons italian parsley, roughly chopped
