Omg baby Noah (aka baby bean) is so adorable 🥰 all you need to do is look at his smiling face and forget about any storm. Gale winds 💨 , crashing 🌊, and uncontrollable swinging cranes 🏗️ is nothing compared to the adorable Noah laugh ( and sneeze) to distract from natural disaster lol. There’s always light ( or beautiful day) after the storm. Just brace it and have fun.
I am one of those Americans that says hi and wishes people a good day. I am from the southern part of the US. Hospitality and kindness and politeness goes a long way. I now live in the Northern part of the country and it is another world. Less people say hi. Most people are rushing off somewhere and look at me funny when I try to strike up a conversation over the bananas. A few kind words costs nothing! And maybe you help someone's day!!!!
We decided to come to Nice, France (from Boston, MA, USA) to get away from the cold and snow. It has been wonderful. Around 60 (F) most days, it is sunny and the sky is always blue. We chuckle at the locals who zip around in full winter gear, long coats, hats, scarves, and gloves, thinking that the weather is cold When we left Boston there was snow on the ground and the temperature gauge read 14 (that's 16 degrees below zero in Fahrenheit.) PS Yeah Noah! Walking :)!
Your blood thins in warmer climates. You would dress the same if you lived in Nice a few years. I lived in Hawaii 12yrs, we don't swim in the winter. I grew up in Boston Proper.
17:39 about the construction crane. this is normal as it rotates freely due to the wind. If it didn't do that, it would actually be dangerous. think of it as a weather vane.
Cant believe Noah is walking already! My dad and i had a similar storm experience in our pickup camper in Nova Scotia many years ago. It was so windy and cold, in August mind you, that we had to turn the furnace on. Then we had to unhook everything and turn the truck camper to face the other way because the wind was blowing the furnace flame out. We were supposed to take a ferry to Prince Edward Island the next day but it was cancelled because waves were too rough. That was a crazy few days
Highly entertaining, thank you. Funnily enough we took off in April last year to go ‘Around the Pyrenees’ in our Ducato van, and encountered wind and rain there too! We headed off to the Med coast via Huesca and Valderobres (‘one of Spain’s most beautiful towns’) and Miravet hitting the sea at Peñiscola (funny name!) which was fabulous, with its promontory, promenade and loads of bar restaurants. You must go! From there we turned north and enjoyed all those famous resorts back up to the Tarn Gorge along from the Millau Bridge. I wonder where you’ll take us this time!
I think with those cranes they are actually set up to spin freely (or the brake is turned off) when the winds get up to a certain level so that they don't break off. It looks wild, but it's actually a lot safer.
I swear babies are little magical beings that can torment and give you the greatest joy😂😍🥰🤗🤪 even when your down. I would love to go to Spain. The views are gorgeous ❤
Wow, not lucky...beautiful area though. That storm was something else. Luckily you had the hotel. Safe and sound. Nice to have that beautiful day and sun in the end. Happy trails. ❤️ Regards from Québec ,Canada
Watched you again even with the grays. We too had rain in Spain. You just make it fun without sun. You’ve got your own Noah so there is bound to be son-shine paired with rainbows.
Get out of the water crazy boy!!! Ufff, that view at 18:00 gave me goosebumps, Sanse is so beautiful. There are some really beautiful beaches on the Bilbao coast, Playa de Sopelana and Arrietara hondartza, and the Bilbao old town is enchanting, I hope you get a chance to see them. And it's cheaper there than San Sebastian.
Your vlogs are hilarious. My husband thinks I have 'lost the plot because I have been laughing aloud at your conversations. Your stoicism and humour under very trying circumstances is truly British. Good on ya. 😂
As you took a dip in the cold water, I think a reminder of the hot springs of Colorado might be useful. Love the family. Little guy sure can walk cute. Thanks for video.
I'm glad y'all got a hotel home base for bath time and stability against the Spain storm! yes when we were in Mexico (husband's choice) it was in between storms at night and sunshine in the afternoon. Some days sunny and some days cloudy, either way, the view of the ocean every single day is what got us the most happiest!
Noah is such a treat, he has a wonderful character, he is a very happy baby and watching him learning to walk is a joy to behold. Great episode Beanz .. full of laughs, excitement and daring do, (hurricane strolls with baby & dips in cold Spanish seas), I’m looking forward to the Beanz in the Pyrenees.

So here's one. Planned a huge trip to Florida with fun in the Sun and it all came to a halt while we hunkered down during a hurricane instead. Sometimes, snow is best. lol I loved you trip, I got to see something new. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I live in central Texas so we pretty much have sunshine all winter and only about 8 hours drive to beaches on Gulf of Mexico!! Noah’s smile and laugh are precious!!
So encouraging to see you keeping your sense of humor during a raging storm 😊 Our first winter camping trip after purchasing a small travel trailer almost 10 years ago was on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in WA State. It was wild, thrilling, and gorgeous, but I thot the wind would blow that little trailer off the bluff 😮 Thankfully we survived the night with no issue. Thankfully you all moved to a hotel and were able to enjoy a better night, and a beautiful day and delicious food after the storm.
Wow. Noah is walking. It seems like yesterday he was a tiny little baby. He's growing up fast. We want to apologize to you guys for suggesting to go south on holiday. Bilbao , even in winter has pretty nice weather. Despite the crappy weather, hopefully, you had fun and enjoyed the food and French wine. Sending you Hugs🫂 and Kisses💋 from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
OMG! That weather was horrendous, I thought you'd all get blown away walking back to your hotel room. It's lovely to see Noah trying his legs, he's doing so very well. Looking forward to your next video and hoping the weather is much, much kinder to you all xx
Wow, what a rollercoaster of weather you've experienced! Despite the unexpected snow and stormy conditions, it's clear that you're making the most of your journey through Spain and France.
Years ago, I made a trip to Acapulco, Mexico to get some wonderful sun. I was there a week, and the first day and a half were fabulous. Then, it started raining, and on the 4th day the hurricane hit. We were all called to the lobby in case we had to evacuate and some of the guys started playing penny ante poker. Everyone was having a good time until the local police came in to check on everyone, saw the poker game going on and threatened to lock everyone up for gambling. Everyone, even those of us not playing, had to swear we would not gamble to get the police to leave. The sun came back out the morning we left for the airport. Needless to say, I was ready to get out of there, and I have to say - I've never been back! Watching Noah walk is sooooo much fun! He is the happiest little boy, not to mention, he's going to be a handsome man.
I lived in Barcelona for 4 years and I wouldn't be going to the Pyrenees at this time of year, burrrr. But if you must, Ribes de Freser is an adorable town to stay. From there you could visit Queralbs, a beautiful village all of stone buildings, and maybe make it up to Vall de Nuria. After (or instead of) the Pyrenees you might want to head to Barcelona, if there's a place to park. I spent Christmas and New Years in Barceloneta last year and there were many days I could lie on the beach in my bathing suit midday, which is typical, specially now, a great time to be there.
you two are a breath of fresh air [ no pun intended! ] You can go anywhere but just stay safe ! Little Bean is walking!!.... NOW the fun begins !!!!!😂😂😂
Remembering now the rain in Spain. You have your own Noah and he’s on the move. Soon a jumping Bean! So very grateful you to bumped into each other🍀. Right there now you are chilling beans. Pardon please . International Tapas smorgasbord. Cheers.
Noah is walking & sleeping through the night what a little star!! 🤩 Big pity about the weather but you adapt to surroundings with laughs! That wind was hideous so glad you are in Hotel ….the Sun is out!! 🌞🤗 Take care on your travels! ❤️from Australia 🇦🇺🐨
The best way to get to sleep is follow the 8 second rule...deep breath in for 8 seconds, breathe out fully for 8 seconds and hold for 8 seconds. Do this 5 or 6 times then relax and breath gently through your nose. You'll be asleep in no time. Love all your videos ❤
I love 💕 this family because they're so optimistic no matter what comes their way and they show you everything that happens in a van life and yet they always have fun you are very contagious 👍💯🥳🥰🤩🤗🥴🫣😶🌫️😛😶🌫️🤪😶🌫️
I think no matter what you experience, you always learn something from it and now you know it's good to break up vanlife with some hotel or air bnb stays; win! Also, how much did you appreciate the sun after the storm?! Contrast can be helpful to deepen appreciation 😊 Noah is such a joy to watch, loved watching his first baby steps! Thanks for the awesome video Bean family!!!🙏 💚
Where is the south? 70 ( not under 20 degrees celcius )? I have lived here inland Malaga for 11 years. And winters are cold. We have had 0-25 degrees celsius in winter. Mostly 10-20.
Rota Spain. We spent every Christmas out by the pool lived on the beach and was always lots of people on the beach and in the water. Year round hot weather maybe below 70 4 days out of the year
Hi beanies, I enjoy your videos emensly & have fallen totally in love with your little fella, seeing Noah grow every video, lots of love & wishing you a safe journey Mike 💞
You kids are having the time of your lives! I really enjoyed the video. Little Noah is getting big! Be safe! I wish for nothing but sunshine for you! ☀️☀️☀️❤❤❤☀️☀️☀️
You are right…if you were out in the States or Canada you’d have had an instant greet/invite. Never seen such a cramped van park…r u sure u weren’t on a “for sale” lot 😅 🇨🇦 ❤
Communal meet-up sounds lovely for those who want to be social. Personally speaking, when I go away I'm chasing soitude and quiet. The less humans I have to interact with the better. I go away to escape people. 🤣
When I was a kid, 4 of us were camping in a small VW camper (the size of your red one) at the NJ shore and got stuck in the middle of a HURRICANE (Agnes, 1972)!!! We had a small awning that kept collecting all the water so periodically we'd push it up in the middle so the water would go out and not break it. At least it gave us a little more space...
Hi Beans family. The winter on Madeira Island is so mild that a lightweight jumper is all that is required at times. Sometimes it's just short sleeve t-shirts and shorts. Perhaps we see you here sometime soon as it's part of Portugal.
Haha we've been parked up in that exact same spot in San Sebastián making awkward small talk with our neighbors and trying to socialize 😅 Glad you got to taste the delicious pinxtos and get a bit of sunshine despite the storm! Cheers from our van in Andalucia, where it's also raining at the moment (although we did have some beautiful beach days last week)
The weather is nuts everywhere ... North America: California has huge snowstorms with multiple deaths, Texas has horrible wildfires, British Columbia's famous rainforest areas have 84 forest fires, and it is 20*C in Toronto today. Crazy.
What an adventure you had. Nice that you ended up in a hotel for that added comfort. You should consider stopping in on some of the Chateau's in France with new UK owners who are renovating them and the outbuildings. There are a number of them in france with their own youtube channels some are even renovating a village... I'm sure they would let you camp out on their property for a night ..or two...and probably welcome a fellow youtuber. Can't wait to see where you end up next.
Great video as usual . Barcelona is warm in April . March is a funny old do climate wise . Where ever you are . 😮 You are a lovely young couple and I totally love watching you . Little Noah is captivating really . He looks so much like Alex right now . Sorry Emma. But he just does . He just does . Bless you. The three of you , and happy travels .♡♡♡♡♡♡😊
LUV you guys!!! I always look forward to All your videos!!! I can't believe that Noah is already walking.. wow, he's growing up so fast!!! And he's Sooo Cute!!!
What a storm! Pyrenees yes! I'd hoped you'd go there, have you found snow? We travelled from Carcassonne to Andorra then into Catalonia, and had a wonderful week in the breathtaking mountains in autumn. The museum of cave art in France is great, I highly recommend if you go that far east. I'd love to go back and explore the pyrenees more.
That part of Spain can be very stormy and rainy even in the summer time. It happened to me one summer so we left and drove to southern Spain and the weather was so much calmer and hotter.
Noah’s growing up so quickly 🤗 It’s wonderful that y’all have the kind of job that you can spend every moment together. That way nobody misses anything that Noah does😀 I hope the sun follows you guys on the rest of your travels🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

"Follow the sun, they said!" Emma is such a good sport!
Yeah but that's NORTHERN Spain, it's hardly Spain... They need to get south to Murcia.

That looked so much fun dodging the waves.... but i can imagine it was a bit unnerving being in the camper being rocked about by the wind

Hi Beans family. The winter on Madeira Island is so mild that a lightweight jumper is all that is required at times. Sometimes it's just short sleeve t-shirts and shorts. Perhaps we see you here sometime soon as it's part of Portugal.
Oh wow Noah is walking yay! I have a 16 month old daughter and guys it’s all go from here their development is crazy and happens so fast! ❤
This was hilarious! Next stop- The Pyrenees!!
Haha we've been parked up in that exact same spot in San Sebastián making awkward small talk with our neighbors and trying to socialize 😅 Glad you got to taste the delicious pinxtos and get a bit of sunshine despite the storm! I go to Aquilas in Spain, thats the South, we have family living there so thats easy. Beautifull beaches great food and a lot of sun
3:31 🤣🤣🤣 bit on the wrong side of Spain. So quickly to the east side where the weather is better?
Noah’s growing up so quickly 🤗 It’s wonderful that y’all have the kind of job that you can spend every moment together. That way nobody misses anything that Noah does😀 I hope the sun follows you guys on the rest of your travels🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
I gotta say, you guys go beyond with the thumbnails hahaha. They always look so interesting !!
