Saw Incantation in Montevideo, Uruguay few months ago for the first time in my life, and dude, I'm 44, I waited like 70% of my life for that. Totally worth it, they played for almost 100 people like they were playing in a stadium. Precise, nasty, fast, it was wonderful, I felt like a teenager again. No matter where are you from, your age or what you think, Incantation shows everyone that the flame is still burning strong and healthy. Cheers and thanks for them and the seal for this new gift!

The strength of this album is that everything comes together this time - songwriting, lyrics (!!), cover all seems to be enchanted by the same spirit. Death Metal the old way, but still remains exciting from start to finish and the concept really gives the album it's own atmosphere. Great stuff!
This is the first incantation album that clicks for me. Not to say that the rest I've heard were bad but... the production of this is just chef's kiss. Makes it such a great listen.

Got to see INCANTATION live for the first time in Dublin recently absolutely amazing honestly the best death metal band i have ever seen live . I hope they come back at some point thanka for an amazing night.
I can say that incantation has not lost any steam and I have been listening to this band ever since high school and that was as far back as the 1990s as matter fact to be more precise it was the 92/93 school year I was a junior and I been listening these boys ever since to the present day
i am generally very reluctant about incantation-eske riffing, even if its Incantation themselves, but this one is a very very pleasant surprise. Awesome compositions and production
After a month of listening to this new album I can tell that it's truly great piece of art. And any minute of Incantation's music just can't be confused with any another band worldwide. Incantation's style remains unique. The covering artwork is so impressive as well.
Well, what can I say it's Incantation. Even just knowing that alone made me be 100% sure this was gonna be a great album, and they delivered and them some! I love that there's the typical signature "Incantation style" but there's also some parts to the songs that sound new and fresh which in my opinion is the best way to incorporate new ways without changing the band too much. John, knowing you see these comments frequently, great job to you and the band and I'll be ever so excited to spin this countless times when the physical copy of that vinyl arrives and definitely looking forward to seeing the future tour for this album, an easy 10/10 record for me. My favorite songs were: Concordat and Megaron.

I love the vocals of john much more than Craig. I have the CD coming in the mail I always get criticized when I call Incantation a black metal band however there is no denying their black metal elements. I will forever be a fan!

29:40 spot on Altar... just ridiculously rich riffing and harmonies. That section could be on repeat for 3 minutes and I would never tire of it. Its up there with some of the darker work on Vanquished in Vengeance, Diabolical, Nazarene, or Golgotha.

To be sure, I don't claim I can identify digital amps or drum replacement and quantizing all the time, this recording just sounded less tinkered with than the current standard, which I really appreciate. Not that it matters all the time, as far as I know some of my favorite albums have been recorded with digital drum pads (Sunlight Studios) Also I learned that this album along with the last couple of albums is a Dan Swanö production, which I wouldn't have guessed at all. If I ever get the chance I'll catch you live here in Germany!

what more can be said about one of the best bands in the world?! I have been a fan since the beginning the band continues to evolve and each release is better than the previous one! I love the vocals of john much more than Craig. I have the CD coming in the mail I always get criticized when I call Incantation a black metal band however there is no denying their black metal elements. I will forever be a fan!

Offerings, Megaron, and Altar are my faves. Hope they are added to the live show list. Altar has great atmosphere. Could be a great show opener. Riff at 1:10 on Offerings is effing siiiick! Nice work Incantation! Definite purchase 🤘🤘
29:40 spot on Altar... just ridiculously rich riffing and harmonies. That section could be on repeat for 3 minutes and I would never tire of it. Its up there with some of the darker work on Vanquished in Vengeance, Diabolical, Nazarene, or Golgotha.

@@IbexmoonrecordsThanks for the reply. After my initial comment I read a couple interviews where you detailed some of the tracking. To be sure, I don't claim I can identify digital amps or drum replacement and quantizing all the time, this recording just sounded less tinkered with than the current standard, which I really appreciate.
Not that it matters all the time, as far as I know some of my favorite albums have been recorded with digital drum pads (Sunlight Studios) Also I learned that this album along with the last couple of albums is a Dan Swanö production, which I wouldn't have guessed at all.
If I ever get the chance I'll catch you live here in Germany!
