Thanks, this adds value to the discussion. Btw. Flood damage sound way to dramatic. Is it really needed to replace the cayenne carpets? A cheap vinegar treatment, power washing and dye then if needed. Ozone, febreze and a black ice tree may help , too 😁

Well, the title has a flood brand :) I also posted the video before I cleaned the front drains (under the wiper’s cowling). I found that this was the primary water source, and sunroof drains a secondary. Water was raising in the cowling and reached the cabin air intake. So the water so coming through the blower motor (and killed it as well).

I cleaned the carpets, but the foam rubber underneath still had a tiny smell of stagnant water. So I decided to replace them.
