I highly recommend the 1978 film to those who haven't seen it. Terrific cast, great music (by Nino Rota), and no CGI! The sequel, Evil Under The Sun, was also very good. The later ones in that series are skippable.
These remakes of Agatha Christie movies by Kenneth Branagh have been so disappointing. The CGI trains and boats feel nothing like the real things used in the 1970s films. Even the lighting looks bad because it's done in front of green screens.
The version of 78 is 1000 times better, the 2022 is all so false, plastic, bland, not a river of truth is, everything is CGI, not to mention the actors who are very weak
