7:28 I don't understand it either. I have viewed all 3 episodes of this interview. Ace seems like a good dude. He admits his own faults. And not 1 time does he disrespect the other guys.
He calls them control freaks, and says they always out voted him is why he left, leaving out the fact he doing drugs and his performance was declining.
@Cameron cash Hopkins come on man, I like Ace a lot, but there's no denial that the drink and drug abuse fucked Ace's capabilities at some point; I mean the guy is talented as hell but he just let it slip through his hands to the point of absurd... I saw his show on Poughkeepsie in the early 90's and I had a blast... That's drugs for ya.

ace is the reason I am a kiss fan since 1974 I saw kiss in st Louis at the kshe kite fly and that was it for me kiss with ace will always be in my top 5 bands of all time
This is how it seemed to me if you was a metal head true rocker you was and ace fan if you was a chick you was a Paul fan kids who jumped on the bandwagon was a gene fan and drummers stick together lol
Ace has said that He & Gene get along great. He & Paul get along great. But, you put the three together....and that's when there's trouble. He seems like a funny, fun loving kinda guy. It's sad that Ace and Peter let their habits get it n the way of their music for a while. Ace is sober now. God Bless him!
I heard a rumor that there’s a curse on the four original members of KISS, because of what happened to Fox. The supposed curse basically goes that if Paul and Gene and Ace and Peter try to have a reunion of any kind, it’ll end in KISSaster. At first I scoffed at the idea of such a thing--but then their reunion tour wasn’t exactly a bed of roses, and their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of fame didn’t exactly go so well, either, did it? If there really is a curse, I hope there’s some way to undo it, because what happened to Fox wasn’t their fault, and I don’t think they should have to be made to spend the rest of their lives without ever seeing each other again because of it! They’re BROTHERS, for pity’s sake!

Ace was my favorite member of Kiss. he's awesome. Never had the chance to see him live, but Definitely want to.
I got to see his solo group live about six years ago, a couple months after seeing KISS. That was pretty sweet, since that was the height of my KISS fandom. It was a great show.
I actually got to put my arms around him during CreaturesFest! And when it was my turn for a picture with him, the camera guy teasingly said, “Hey, Ace, look! It’s your bride-to-be!” And Ace didn’t exactly voice any objections or protestations on being set up like that. But then he doesn’t know yet I happen to be Gene’s niece--I think that might scare him a bit, like, “Oh my god of thunder! Gene is finally gonna officially kill me!”
Ace rocks, he was my hero as a kid, still is.

I still have a copy of Kiss Meets The Phantom of The Park on VHS. Waiting for that day I know how to make it digital LOL! LOVED that movie as a kid and as a revisit in my adult years, I couldn't love it any more.
Ace is my favorite guitarist of all time his helped me through hard times and inspired me so much I genuinely hope the best for him his such a genuine person and I care so deeply about him even if I'm just a stranger to him. Space Ace Forever!!!
This guitarist influenced so many to pick an' grin. Mainly me when i heard KISS Alive 1 in '75!
The original album artwork for Destroyer was released as the cover of Destroyer Resurrected .
The band members look better on the original (better costumes and a better painting of Ace's face), but the background looks better in Resurrected.

Yeah, they had to change the cover because of the new costumes. The original cover had the previous tours costumes.

That farewell tour concert I saw 🪚 was great took along my binoculars for that one,Ace was the favorite not taking away anything from the other dudes though, but does seem generic without Ace 🎸🎸

I have been on a Kiss rabbit hole binge, especially on their interviews and Ace by and far away is the only one who tries to be diplomatic, most the time, and "polite" even about his difference with the others, he always puts things in a favorable light to them even when criticizing.

'96 Reunion should have been the end of Kiss as embarrassing now for Kiss. They could have gone out on a high like Sabbath but have chosen to limp on for reasons no one understands. The '96 reunion I attended 3 gigs and after that who would want to see Kiss without Ace. They have become a parody now.

It’s mediocre.
I don't agree about Sabbath going out on a high as you put it. Drummer Bill Ward alive and willing wasn't a part of the ending because they "supposedly" wouldn't give him a signable contract. He wasn't on 13 or part of the last tour which will always be something I'll never get over or be able to accept. Bill was as important as the rest of that band and equally a part of what made them who they were. So for myself the end of Sabbath was so wrong.

It's not only Peter Criss who says that he feels like being treated as worker/Second class member apparently Ace says almost the same thing of feels like being treated as a Sideboy. I guess something really wrong happening on KiSS. Me personally feel like Ace n Peter are being used on this Case. I mean why among Billions of people in the world they choose to bring back Ace n Peter. I think because they know without Ace n Peter there's no hope for them to bring back old success. And because a lot of KiSS fans will always remember KiSS as original 4.Yet Gene n Paul are too ashamed to admit it 😁😁😁😁
I think it’s also partly because Paul and Gene feel ashamed they let Peter and Ace get into such bad states instead of looking out for them like good brothers should (Peter and Ace BOTH could’ve ended up statistics just like Kirk Cobain and so many other poor unfortunate rock stars). So when they brought them back, they were trying to make up for it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Am I wrong?
