    I've found what I'm using for my cosplayyyyy, I love the faux textile looks but I didn't really want leather, so this is perfect

      Haha, thank you so much! :) I've realized that forging with foam is kind of like a martial art or sword fighting. There are only a handful of base techniques to learn and then once you know those you can start doing combinations of them to achieve really cool results. :)

    So when you do things like this, do you lose dimension on your piece? In other words, does scoring and gluing make your foam shrink so a 12" x 12" pieces ends up 11" x 11" or something?

      You will probably lose some because of the curves being added in. But the foam also stretches for those curves too so you won't lose as much as you would otherwise. :)
