Clyde is a damn troll of a cat lol. Next time you do another challenge like this I'll do my best to keep him company in the other room so he doesn't bother you. All in all good run though c:
"I shouldn't have any problems with the first stage" Listen man, I believe in you, but I also know how strong the power of foot-in-mouth is when you're playing shmups. My favourite shmups are the little sections in Kirby games and Jets n' Guns, a game I am miserably bad at but bought because the soundtrack was made by one of my favourite bands. I can see why it's your favourite stage. The whole surface of the sun aesthetic, the eclipse (or maybe black hole?) in the background, the red lightning temples, it's all pretty badass. Was your spaceship actually a rover deployed on mars on 26th of November 2011? Because the cat killed curiosity. Anyway, just lock him in a hot car next time.
Alright!! It's Shin!! Great o see you again bro. glad to see you still having fun and playing Neo-Geo. And with Pulstar?! Excellent choice as always Shin. 8^) I shared your video up on the Neo-Geo thread for others to take notice and be amazed by your gaming skills bro. Always a pleasure to share your works and thank you for sharing this with us. 8^) Anthony..
Thanks, Fr0sty! I hope you're having a great day, and that this video finds itself somewhat entertaining. New video this week as well, i'm coming out the break SWINGING!
My top 10 shmups would be Gradius Gaiden, Darius Gaiden, 1944, Tyrian, Soldier Blade, Boogie Wings, Thunder Force III, Sonic Wings 2, Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius and Sorcer Striker.
Wow, it was (kinda) easy for you due to only using the initial credit (and yeah, I don't count the cat shenanigan forcing you to restart from stage 4), despite the cat sabbotage at times, you know, I believe I should give this game a try eventually.
Don't let this playthrough fool you, this game is pretty tough, I was just playing it a lot for a while on NeoRagex before Megan told me to just make a video out of it, so I was already "aware" of stuff that comes up and what I needed to do until the last boss phase, that shit legit had me shaking lmao. Also yeah, you should give it a try, I perfer Blazing Star due to the variety of characters, but this game is really solid for the genre. If you plan on recording the run, tag me on discord so i can watch the video!
@@TheShinBlack Sure thing, and that's why I added the "kinda" as I had my intuition told me that the gameplay looked more as someone who had practice with the game to make it look easy overall, even so, it's nice for a change you can get situations like the no miss clear on your SNK Boss Syndrome with Geegus or this game for a change, and yeah, I'm not going to stop mentioning this but... I'm still waiting for some puzzle games for you to show, especially THE ONE I have been mentioning for a while.
@@PikangsFutaba Yeah, im gathering up the ACA Neo Geo puzzles games so i can mess around with em and play em with Megan for the channel. I NEED IRRITATING MAZE PORT ASAP
I have near zero experience with shoot em ups, so i got this game called yurukill the culminiation games and i played it on the easiest difficoltà. Thing is, i don't do good with them because there's a lot going on on the screen. But i actually liked it. Any recommendation on an entry le el shoot em up?
Gradius 3 on the SNES is one I can't reccomend enough. I might be very biased though. (use the konami code if you're having too much trouble!) Also try Battle Garegga REV.2016 (XB1/PS4), that one was pretty fun (good ost too), and I felt like anyone new to the genre would have a decent time at it. I'd spam you with more suggestions but give those 2 a try and let me know what you think or if you want more suggestions!
Wasn't that on PS1? I remember playing it. KINDA. Either way, I will be playing it soonish, Gradius series is PEAK shump for me so i'll seek it out. Prolly won't make a video of it, but you never know.... Also, good to see ya again Magma. Hope you been well, sir.
@@MagmaMKII Yeah, I need to get around to playing it. I was messing around on Parodius on SNES and man, those are sick. Konami had some bangers, idk why they fell off the way they did
REAL UA-cam is back, bless up 😮💨🙏🏾🙏🏾
God bless you too. Hope the video finds itself amusing or entertaining to you in some way.

God bless, brother. You played this before? How would you rate it over the other Neo Geo shumps?

Mentioning Parodius alone mean you have amazing taste. Sorcer Striker I never heard of though, I may have to take a peep...

This game is extremely difficult
Agreed. I really wished I didn't play it a lot beforehand so people who don't know how hard this game is could really be.
Play Gradius Gaiden.

Gaiden was on the PSX, yeah. Japan only. Its the best Gradius game IMO, and a lot of people seems to agree.
@@MagmaMKII Also on Gradius Collection on PSP, but without 2 players support.
