Leo Tolstoy's mind moves in such an in depth manor, truly a man that loves God and realizes God will take us on many uncharted journey's.

Great literature like this if read, learn, practise and share... We can see the change from within and without. Many issues and problems we see on this earth planet can be resolved.

Leo Tolstoy ' s literatures is like a shining light enter into a dark room, to dispell the darkness and illusion within our mind and heart. We need both physical and spiritual food to keep our body and soul together.
    Red pill vs. Blue pill
Eat to live vs. live to eat
    Good vs. evil
    Light vs. Darkness
    Spiritual vs. material
    Ying vs. Yang
Every home and schools are in need of restore good art in literacy, creativity (cooking, painting, calligraphy, music, farming...) Each one of us has a specific skill/talent - make full use of it in a selfless manner. There is a higher purpose in our life as great thinkers have path the ways for us.

Very much like George Macdonald who was CS Lewis’s spiritual mentor. My soul expands with Tolstoy’s words.

"Christ in the realm of the dead" by Manly P Hall, amongst others, have this feel of gentle awareness of how to allow God to guide us instead of looking to know "Him." Much appreciation.

Thank you for these recordings, sir.
I request that you please slow down a bit in your reading of the text on two accounts:
    1) A pause between sentences would be nice. And an even larger pause between ideas. One can never pause too long.
    2) A slowing down of the pace of reading would benefit listeners such as myself much for whom English is a second language. Though it is possible to play the UA-cam video at a slower pace, just the absence of any pause whatsoever makes it impossible to assimilate ideas while listening.
Once more, I thank you much for this great labor of yours that God has granted you. It serves to the profit of many a hungry soul.

I am inspired by Tolstoy's writings. So much of what he says is true, yet, he cannot bring himself to acknowledge or submit to the Truth.
    What does Paul teach?
"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life " Rom. 6:3-4.
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all." Eph. 4:4-6.
    And what does Jesus teach?
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Jn. 14:6.
It's interesting, don't you think, how everyone wants to believe in and have a relationship with God, but not Jesus? Jesus is just too messy.
Let's, instead, create a God more to our liking, one who doesn't make too many demands of us, one with whom we can feel happy.

You have it backwards. Jesus was turned into a God to build the basis for a religion.
Mortals made Jesus God at the Council of Nicea. They manufactured the Trinity to unite the Empire and to make a living flesh God easier to sell to the masses. Monotheism is not the Trinity as Christian apogists insist. 1 in 1 = 1.
      3 in 1= 0.

We know intuitively know something bigger than us put our soul here, and yet we still argue (hurt and kill) about the what and the how after millennia.

Looks like you aren’t capable of understanding the depth and truth that Tolstoy is discussing. Jesus does not need to be adored nor worshipped nor did he demand it but considered himself son of man and son of God with both as ONE. In the gospel of John he stated clearly that the Farther was greater than himself.

    if God is father;
    SHe Is Mother…
    friend, sibling,
    neighbor, stranger,
    don’t call God master…
    Spouse!
    because we must care
    for God
    love God
    cherish God.
    God has no gender!
    and neither does
    your soul.
    i say:
    god is espoused
    to me,
    I to God,
    intimacy
    beyond
    my knowledge
    is known to me
    by grace beyond
    my ability
    beyond duality.
    marriage is
    our meeting,
    wed by being
    within being.
    love our Host
    who Gives us shelter
    and refuge eternal.
    present your Self
    honestly
    and in humility
    to God.
    habitation and rehabilitation:
    how could it be better?
    God always seems too
    Good to be true!
    but God is so Good,
    God is Great,
    and God so Great,
    God is Good.
    the house of david
    is the whole world now.
    david still sits
    on his eternal throne!
    the covenant is ever new:
    let God’s mystery
    drop away,
    as we say,
    when two people
    love each other
    very much;
    there are facts
    of life.
    Life is One
    in great diversity.
    God is One
    in infinite diversity.
    be at peace.
    be still and know God.
    love God!
    we are all one
    and One with God.
    love one another.
    Love wins
    over fear.
    drop your idols
    into the sea,
    all crosses,
    the twenty four
    knew and threw
    their crowns into
    the glassy sea.
it is not done in vain.
    all, offer only yourself,
    only offer all of yourself
    to the Only Holy One.
it is not done in vain.
    👑

    love,
    david

If you seek Him, you will find Him. God is already in you, waiting for you. His love is pure love. Where else can you find that? It's literally not possible because love comes only from God. We humans think we know it all. In reality, everything is already there. We are just discovers, not creators.
