I loved reviewing this watch! Not an every day piece, in fact, probably a very occasional wear. One thing you can't deny is the genius and enginuity behind it!
I saw many reviews about this watch, no one referring to another tweak: not matter difficulty at reading the hour, small fonts and so, you cannot read them night time due to lack of iridescence over the marks. Additionally, some iridescence over the map would be welcome as well. 😊
So many world time watches seem to delete Australia from the globe. Good to see it has not forgotten Australia. If somehow they could use the globe as a world timer that would be amazing.
I have had one of these in the titanium variant for a few months now, one does not wear it specifically for the purpose of telling the time. It is to appreciate its innovation and unique design. I wish they provided different dials with other parts of The World. I live in North America and there is no reference of that on the dial. The tweaks mentioned by PK are relevant and there could be a couple more but nevertheless, it is NOT a watch for everyday use but occasionally especially as a conversational piece to draw people into what we watch collectors appreciate.

Very cool actually! Though I wouldn't buy one personally. Though it gives me the idea, could be really fun to take an inexpensive watch and add an earth design on the dial... 😮
Thanks for the detailed review. This one really appealed to me. I like Ti cases. The time indication is clever. Unique? But what really caught my attention was the face. That globe is impactful. I wish it was displaying North & South America. I agree with you the hour numbers should definitely be larger. If they are in the same color blue as the globe so much the better. Also agree with you on that crown “ghost position.”
When I first saw this Peter some months ago I thought it was just ugly! But I’ve grown to love it’s obvious out there design. For mine, if the embossed pointer/compass logo was say in gold, it would draw your short sighted eyes to it!🤪I wear glasses so not so much of an issue. The biggest mistake made was leaving Tassie on the map of Australia!🤣😂👍🏼
I don't often complain about the price but here I have to. This gives me a huge sticker shock. The fact that this is a high beat movement based on the ETA architecture is completely useless here. It's just outrageously expensive for a novelty watch being virtually useless.

Please lets address the elephant in the room! You will never have to worry about multiple glances to see what time it is. The "Compass" is the elephant in the room. You just look at it and immediately tells you the exact Hour and the approx. minute.

Δεν μπορείς να κόψεις ξύλα δίχως πελεκουδια, Στάλιν. Μην πεις ότι το ξέχασες! Μας προσκάλεσε ο Peter για κατασκήνωση στην Αφστραλια (είδες τι παθαίνεις αν δεν ξέρεις από διφθογγους;). Το σχέδιο περιέχει κυνήγι κροκοδείλων, καγκουρό -τι διάολο καγκουρες ειμαστε- τραβερσο ανάποδο στον Yarra Yarra, πιάσιμο kookaburra (γουστάρω το γέλιο τους, μου θυμίζει ύαινες) και φυσικά διαμονή στην ενδοχώρα, μακριά από το ανθρώπινο κοπάδι. Σφοδρή επιθυμία μου η κολύμβηση σε "ανάποδο ρεύμα" για ένα τεσταρισμα των αντοχών μου. Μην ξεχνάτε τα καύσιμα (ρακί, τσίπουρο). Θα ταξιδέψουμε με την PAN-AGROTICA. Καλή αντάμωση στα γουναραδικα!

To me it doesnt seem hard to read. Which ever outside numbers the compass is between, then the smaller of those two, is the hour. Then which ever number the compass is pointing to is the minutes. So at a quick glance you're off by maybe a min.
Not for me Peter, style over function, if you were running to catch a train by the time you've worked out the time the train will have gone...stay safe
For decades we make fun of the Chinese for making world class replicas. It's only a matter of time where they take those skills and create masterpiece matching up to FPJ, RM, PP, AP MB&F.
This watch doesn’t do it for me - a watch us to tell the time and it’s very difficult to read the time with most if the watch face taken up with some map design that is functionally pointless
Not sure how a watch can win an award for a watch design when it's so difficult to read the time on said watch. That, is a fail. Chinese garbage. Sorry. Only being honest. That watch screams junk.

I love it! As a celestial navigation. Student, I love it (for the representation, the timepiece itself is u suited for CelNav ise).

It is cool it's like looking at Earth from space, and the tracks around the globe are the stars, there's a calmness about it.

I like the case. It's like an Ikepod with the Earth inside it, albeit much more difficult to read.
Applaud effort n drsign, very tempting, waiting for one to show dsy n night, but wishlist n $$$
