I will collect this car in 3 days. Either the sales guy lied to me or you have made mistakes on some specs. For one, RWD other than when in Brabus mode. Secondly, the roof cover is a readily available accessory. Lastly, the software update with regards to OTA 1.5.0, released in October.
Congrats on your new Smart #3! As far as we have been briefed, AWD is pretty much always on stand by, though in Brabus mode it is at its most active. Only the Volvo (so far) has the option to hard override and disable the front motor. For the #3, this could have been changed since then in a software update but the car we drove did not have it. As for the glass roof shade, I’m not sure if that’s a factory accessory (as it should be) or one sourced at the dealer level. The BYD Seal we drove did have the fixed roof shade, but it was an aftermarket product. Still a drag to install, though.
@ Your comment kinda makes sense if true. Ultimately the sales lied to me then but it doesn’t matter because this is an ego buy. It makes sense because I did some research to see if this is a real Brabus collab or just logo. It’s clear that the suspension is 10% stiffer but there was a site that said the motor is tuned by Brabus - I guess it implies 2WD or AWD as per your reply. There is very little official literature on this topic unfortunately
17:40 true. Here in HK we install an ice roof shield. TB also has a detachable rooftop sticking on the inner glass rooftop. I didn’t buy it yet. Tried and like it. I like it fully black.
Love the new SMART #3 ❤
Actually, only in the Brabus mode that both motors were used. In other modes, only the rear motor was used.
Love that 21 kid meme

would look great if you can get it in full black 😎
@ yeah, we can get a fully black Brabus here
How is the handling when driven hard?
It’s alright. Talented but nothing special. Maybe with better tyres it would be sharper at the nose.
Smart Malaysia website is like crap..poorly designed
You’re not wrong 😂
