I had similar with nimh. Using lipo and esc worked fine.
The latest version has a momentary switch on the flat side of the body to easy switching during flashing.
I found if the voltage isnt enough the wifi wont work like I tried using a 4.8 volt rx battery and it wouldnt work, but if i used a esc with the rx it worked fine, but I also have a UART flasher as well
