@@Mrgotdammit35JB4 or any non DME-invasive tuning. But you can read the transmissions highest torque and by that determined if it has been tuned.

I had both the G82 M4 and the latest M3 CS, and the M4 felt more stable. Even the lap time of the new M4 CS at Nurburgring is over 8 seconds faster than the M3 CS. Honestly, I don't see the need to pay a premium for the CS.
For around $110k, you can get a 2025 M4 xDrive with ceramic brakes and all the available options. Adding a swan neck rear spoiler, KW V4 coilovers, a body kit, BM3, CS tune, a new wheel set, and a charge air cooler manifold-all of this would keep the total cost under $150k-$160k.
However, if I were to spend that much, I'd consider adding about $30k more and going for a 992.2 GTS instead.
For 50k those upgrades are insanely overpriced. Rather take the aftermarket route and save 40k.

I am lucky to own both the 2022 M5CS and the 2024 M3CS. I think that the M3CS is overall a better car. Love it! What a value! And yes, you are right, trans tune in the M5CS is a lot smoother. But suspension setup on M3CS is superb! Overall, the car in on par with my Project 8 and, to me, that means a lot!

What's project 8? Also I'm so happy with my F82 M4, took it to the Nürburgring, it ran 290 on the autobahn loaded upp with beers and spirits and a mini fridge and loads of luggage. M-cars are on a different level and I'll never sell this car 😊

@Cars with Miles to do a launch with automatic up shifts you just need to put the car into sport +, turn traction to MDM, press the brake, shift the transmission to S3 with the lever, then press the gas until you see the checkered flag in the cluster, then release the brake.

How do you hook up the rest of the belts and does it come with a car or does it have an OEM part number?
I wouldn't say the jerkiness of the transmission while not fully committed with the throttle is a problem, it just gives you a mechanical feeling and a spirit in the car like older cars.
There is a element of driving in certain vehicles that require different things which you then will learn and discover. If everything should be silky smooth and like a 7-series then a M340 or just a basic 3-series should be that persons choice
Would be nice if the outer bolsters could be unlocked with a button, then tilted outward for easy exit and entry. Are you listening, BMW?
BMW loves me because they created a techno violet E36 M3, which is ultra easy to work on, reliable, and turns heads everywhere I go.

All the “negatives” that make this car difficult to live with on the daily are things people who can afford it, in its limited numbers, won’t care about. This is a track weapon. If you want the one that can cosplay as family friendly daily, get the regular M3

3:45 I actually found the seat (once you are in them) to be extremely comfortable! My wife hated getting in and out of the car but was fine once she was in. The center carbon piece in the seats is far enough forward it doesn’t impact the bits.
This is a honest non too biased review of this car. Gave it its credit and also honest considerations on what most deal with daily with this car

The bucket seats is for track use to hold you in position while turning on speed as its a track focused bmw. That glued in cs name for competition sport. U could get the normal m3 with normal seats less stiffer suspension abd less power and u could have same fun soo.

That thing is abysmal. Not only does it have an umbilical chord (err… plug-ok hybrid) but it’s a full 1250lbs heavier than the non-M5 AND they’ve eliminated the shifter altogether - let alone the bespoke M shifter that has neutral as a first-class citizen.
