Naw, it's already a little much. Black frets would create the look that someone just took a nice Fender bass and spray painted it black on the back porch.
It's so difficult choosing between your bass models; they're all so gorgeous! I'm definitely buying me one as soon as I've saved up for it Amazing work
Thats a really beautiful bass, im really impressed as both a builder, and a designer. Ive always wondered why no one made a really blacked out guitar, the contrast of the frets and silver string bits seems perfect for this build, the conyrast as they say" it just pops!". Great job!
Congrats, first time I see a video of a process that does not stress me out and the result is quite good, very elegant, not like most of those projects that turn out tacky
@@Biarnel Why dont you endorse me , send me (one) jazz bass (Passi) 4 string and I will expose it to thousands of people here in the United States of America. Look at it as investing in International advertising . If the bass cost $1000 to$ 2000 USD , thats cheap for advertising in the United States. I will put Biarnel brand logo and name all over the media and in live performances . My band Whitesnake plays in front of thousands of people per show all year long. Let me know ! I'll even take a bass you have made already -
Hello, excellent work. I am starting in the world of lutheria with a project that basically consists of repairing an old bass that is thrown away at home. I want to change the fretboard among other things. My question is what type of paint should I use to stain the wood of the fretboard? Any oil or something of that aniline type? In your case, what type of paint did you use and what color to make it so even? Thank you..
About to make my first bass from scratch. THIS is basically what I had a dream of that inspired the build. I originally didnt want a pick guard and to just hog out from the back and have the hardware just sitting ontop, but this might have swayed me
Thank you. There is no slotting footage just because I don't think it's interesting or challenging, that's just a guy with a saw. It's really simple with the right equipement, it's just soooo tedious :D
Was it too much to ask?? Thank you so much for making a dream come true. I was always looking for an all black bass that could be a beauty just like the one you buit, man oh man, I wish I had one in my hands!!!
Hi Diego, I'm Theo the bass Player of Holyphant, the band that you can listen here holyphant.bandcamp.com/ facebook.com/Holyphant/ We play a mix of stoner \ doom rock \ 70 rock check this out
Omg i have exactly the same kind of pieces of white oakwood laying around and im thinking of building my first guitar or bass guitar with it. The first couple of steps are also exactly what i figured i should do. Lets see of i got the rest of it right. Wonder how to build the neck though
Have you built any headless guitars/basses? How is the construction different as opposed to a "regular" bass (i.e with a headstock) aside from having the tuners on the body itself?
"There's something about this that's so black, it's like how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black."
Love it.
this should be fretless.
This comment is very well written
You're not kidding, even pickups are made from scratch
I told you!
I wonder if making it fretless would have made it seem even more gothic. Beautiful work.
I did a fretless version too, and you’re right, it’s cooler. Visit www.biarnel.com and search for Prassi Neroneronero.
@@Biarnel Maravilloso
oh man, that is a nice bass. I really love the matte with the grain. Nicely done. pups wound in house.
If this ain't the most beautiful bass I've ever seen, I don't know what is
I love it!! Looks amazing and i love the fact the pickups are handmade, you sir have my deepest respect!!!
Thank you sir!
Thank you sir :)
One of the coolest looking basses I`ve ever seen.. that black finish is just wow
Thank you. It really is.

Looks like if jim root had a signature bass
Jim root?
I mean, it would be weird for him to have a bass line but yeah, if jim root played bass, this would be the bass

Such a beautiful bass. I really enjoy the all-black finish. Somehow making the frets black would make it perfect.
They won’t last much in black, tho

@@Biarnel Fretless, same effect and even cooler. Nothing better looking than a nice dark ebony fretless fingerboard on a bass!
Personally I would just go fretless, it would look cleaner
Guys, I made a fretless one. Really. And it’s cool, ok. But if customers order fretted basses... I have to put those frets :)
Damn. This one of the best looking bass ive seen. I need one of these all black. !!! Props.
Mikee Rivera I can’t see why you don’t buy one! :)
It was another build video from the stale type until I saw u wind ur own pickup. Mad respect for you sir. Well freaking done.

Amazing work
I'm impressed to see that you even build the pickups
Lovely looking bass!
Daaaamn
Looks insane
I'm playing on building a full black guitar and I love the way this turned out
Wow! That black just looks so good!
Matte black wins!
Spettacolare.....!!! Strumento fantastico..... Bravissimo... Sei un grande artista... e lavoro da certosino.... Complimenti...
As a fan of black basses, this is beautiful.
Some say it’s beautiful even as a fan of white basses. Because it is.
Beautifull work!!
Thank you!
Not sure why UA-cam recommended me this, but that's a really neat time lapse. I love the open pore finish.
SteelSkin667 you should check my other time lapse video, it’s better than this.

thank you so much.
Really cool build, just curious why you didn't show the installation of the truss rod?
