I have this beautiful guitar in the same Royal Tan shown here. I hemmed and hawed over the Elitist version for so long that finally I couldn't find one new. Boy, am I glad things worked out that way, as I prefer this headstock, modeled after the earlier Casinos, to the hourglass/Lennon one on the MIJ Elitist. Too, this nut width is just a tad more generous, which is more to my liking. As to sound and playability ... well, it's become one of my favorite guitars. Very versatile, as demonstrated here, but I got it because I wanted a thinline jazz guitar for a change, as all my others are comparatively deep. Anyone who's a fan of both The Beatles AND Grant Green should consider the Epi version of Gibson's ES330 -- you get the hollowbody and P90 sound, plus the cooler looks of the Casino.
