The NBA players have been helping the WNBA financially. If Caitlyn Clark raises the WNBA to the point that it is self-sufficient, they won't have to do that anymore. It's in their best interest. WNBA players don't understand that. They only care about themselves. They have proven to be not worth saving. Clark is protecting them even off the court. In her interviews, "It's a physical game." and "It is what it is." She loves the game of basketball and the WNBA. They are so lucky that she does. She will save them despite themselves. She is a true professional. She was drafted into the WDF. (Women's Dumpster Fire) Now, she plays in the WNBA. This is very clear - If you dislike or hate her, your Wrong. You are also seriously outnumbered. The Caitlyn Clark Effect is Quite Real.

@brianwebb2453; It could be they understand it only too well. If the WNBA becomes viable, they could lose their subsidy, then they would HAVE to maintain the standards to keep the viewers and sponsors and survive. I would suggest there are a lot of divas and people with "interest" in the game who would not or could not cope with that situation. They certainly do not want to find the work load and dedication needed. It is a shame for all the decent players who want to develop, not just Caitlin.

The help you are mentioning should start with her teammates. Then the coaching staff. Then the refs. And finally the WNBA. Start handing out fines for flagrant fouls. When they lose money, then they will adjust.

There seems to be more of trhe old fashioned idea of fair play and appreciation of the quality of the opposition still in most of Europe etc. even in women's sports. On Saturday, the two best ladies rugby teams in the world (England and New Zealand) played a physically intensive game for 80 minutes including a number of injuries, then shook hands and hugged. There was some VERY hard physical play, but no nastiness of any sort. Several of the hardest players are mothers. As a side note, when the New Zealand team arrived they were introduced to King Charles and asked him for a hug. His answer was "why not"? He got hugged witha vengeance by a mass of large powerful (and mainly dark skinned) young ladies. That's SPORT.

MAYBE the stage is set…….but it depends who does it……….They might be trying to seriously injure her and take her out the game by taking cheap shots at her but in the process they are exposing the failure of the league in protecting their most. Valuable player on many levels …in and out of the court…if allowed to continue….and she gets injured seriously not only the fins will abandon the league ….like they did in the Olympics….but they will point out the thousands of times they were saying to the WNBA to take action and they turn the blind eye…and the fans “will tune out”…again ….
the same way they did in France …..but it might be much worse but more importantly if she suffers an incapacitation..of any kind
they will be gone …and the entire league future plans will implode and those officials that allowed it to happen will become totally undesirable to those that will try any future plans of creating a new league….and without Clark is a No GO situation….and the media might try to sugarcoat it……but the fans will never forget who messed things up for everybody in the first place…

None of the children were shot dead or put into holding camps so they could live long lives dealing with homelessness, death of their parents, and loss of any future outside of the camps?
Can you share how you, and infant-loving people like you, continually step up to make the lives of babies you save better throughout their whole childhood? Otherwise it sounds like once you prevent people from making their own decisions about what is best for the health of the mother and her immediate family, you do nothing to support the life of the child you "saved". It makes no sense to be responsible for forcing someone to bring a child into this world and then not step up and provide all the support you can to save the rest of their childhood.

Caitlin should take her talents overseas where she will be protected and appreciated by her contemporaries for her contributions to their league!!!! She can make much more money and without all the physical abuse levied upon her by immature and jealous WNBA players, her career will most likely be prolonged by several years!!!!
