I JIUST went from the 32 to the 34 and seen this problem, Googled it and BOOM, took me to this video. I have to say, you have the BEST content for live scope.
I get this message from time to time and I’ve only ever had the LVS34. That message clears in less than a minute and after the unit function perfectly.
I had this exact issue today I bought a used gpsmap 1022 screen and I bought a lsv32 new & the guy I bought it from it on a lsv34 people said it needed updating so I tried this first & reset it after resetting it it works automatically thank you

The Cradle was the problem I got that replaced and now the unit works but I can't seem to find the LV SRT-4 transducer and the livescope. With no status light on the black box. Any tips as to what I can do
This was an excellent video! Definitely some helpful information. I have a question about back lighting. Do you have a video on this? Sometimes, I have a hard time seeing my screen on sunny days. I also have the Garmain 1022 . What setting do you recommend for this?

Hey I have a question about the Lvs 34, when I put the trolling motor in the water the screen keeps flopping around and never settles. I have to cut power off to the the unit and black box to fix the issues. Any idea why this is happening
Maybe you can help me since I can’t get Garmin to answer the phone ever I just installed another black box in an odor LVS 32 Transducer on my boat it says it needs an update I keep going to update and it says error can you tell me what I need to do to get this update completed also I cannot get smart notifications to come on at all thanks for all your help I appreciate it

Usually caused by the black box not powering up slowly

What causes the LVS32 depth to not read right. Mine will say I’m in a 100ft when I’m in 10 or just way off on the depth
That’s hard to say. Seen that when it needs to be updated.

That’s a result of the unit not being calibrated which controls the AHRS. Two fixes. Turn off AHRS and manually set pitch or I suggest calibration

You can simply update your transducer. But almost guaranteed you will

What causes screen to freeze, for about 15 seconds works fine then starts freezing but depth and everything is still working

Does one need a sd card for an update to a 106sv
I always suggest updating with an SD card
got the new lvs 62 and my black box will not come on red light came on for a second then nothing
Power issue is my guess. Hard to say without being there
Tried this twice and it did not fix the issue. Garmin is not responding to my emails after I uploaded a video of my status light.
My experience with that then is to make sure your unit is up to date. That seems to be the secondary issue

Wish I would of read your comment. It removed my livescope tab completely.
They replaced my GLS 10 with another did the update and started the same thing!! Traded it in for a Mega Live I’m done with garmin
