Diving and spearfishing, snorkelling, are the main attractions around Tarrafal sea side bay. Sea is most times calm. Water is always clear enough to observe any shark coming closer. Temperature of the sea water is great and one may hire a boat to support diving. Many times we had holydays there and enjoyed them very much. This was until 1980.
