It’s called “fishing” as opposed to “hunting” in street photography. 45 mm is a great lens that I use much too little. You showed what you can do with it. My good friend John Truman swears by it too.
Thanks for demonstrating how to replace a random background person with a different random background person using AI. I don’t think we’re in danger of being taken over-yet. lol.
No on 5:52 elimination of people in a photo. Keep street photography honest, as in what was in the scene. It will also force you to be a better street photographer. There are times when you have no background to go with -- you don't have a shot move on. Of course there is my, " if you can smell the perfume, snap a shot, rule." If it is beautiful women, people will not see beyond anyway. 😍 Anyway, if it a street portrait, there are no rules. In other words, with a portrait which is obviously a portrait, it is all a setup. The Olympus 45mm and 25mm f1.8 are gems of a lens. I am now using a Leica 15mm lens -- wow, you really do need to be closer. It good to try and use all the widths. I may be more of a 25mm guy, or even 45mm, but I will say the wide lenses get you closer in, or by taking in width wise can get a whole scene every time it is used -- crop later. It is amazing how two scenes going on will complement or be direct opposites of each other, when gathered as one 14mm or 15mm MFT lens shot. Distortions however can and will happens, as when that lens is a tilt, or a subject is near an edge, thing can go wonky. This is when Jerry looks up at you as though to say, Wonky You! -Loren
It was the dumbest shot to try and change. I wanted to see how good it was.. That tool should only be used to remove seagulls 😆 but I do envy that super blurry background.. but acknowledge it can go too far.. I love sneaking in portraits of strangers.. the 45 is great. No fake bokeh needed
Get jerry on the editing lol😂 she picks the best route for photos so give her the pc while shes on a roll mate. Maybe she sabotaged you after making her smell all the food and she didnt get anything lol.
Great stuff..... love your style, pics and chat!!
Thanks mate. Jerry does all the hard work and I just click the shutter button. Haha.. fun street photography when you have a companion 😊
Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge

Crazy. I think what happened was The robot analysed the scene, saw younger people around so replaced the old guy... 😆 Typical gen z programming

Haha.. she only shoots JPG.. yes she has the nose for.... 🐔
Fun video Jerry, you just gave me another good reason not to upgrade from Luminar 4 to this new AI “stuff”. BTW, if you Roberto tell him I said hello.
I'll say hello. He is still trying to find out where that guy disappeared to 😆
