The Madoka Magica transformations are top tier. Not just because each sequence perfectly illustrates each character's arc in the original series, but also that the paper aesthetic gives hint to the artifice of the story and sets up the twist later in the movie.

Im in love with the Madoka Magica transfomations since I feel it really shows the hardships and personal ambitions that young girls have. I watched Madoka when I was 12 and I STILL wanted to become a magical girl even after seeing the fate of each character. Really shows the power and innocence that every girl possesses at their age and their high hopes for the future. I wanted to wield a sword with a cute dress and be powerful no matter what. I felt like I would be invincible and wouldn't end up with emotional barrage like them. Turns out I iust had to wait my turn.

Smile Precure aired in 2012 in Japan. It is an anime in Pretty Cure franchise that begun in 2004 it is the 8th Pretty Cure season. In 2015, Saban decided to give it an English dub were it would be renamed "Glitter Force" (no that doesn't mean it's now forever called Glitter Force, they cannot rename a show they don't own) the series was dubbed completely into an English. As well as parts of the show be edited/cut out. 1. Brightness and contrast: Many scenes were considered to bright for kids. They would darken scenes up so that the viewers wouldn't have eye seizures. 2. Content: The first thing they did was cut out any emotional/violent scenes to make sure people don't get emotional when a crying scene or sad moment is playing. Some transforms are good, but I believe more sailor moon's transforms must be in the top 10. Several transforms on the list use sailor moon as a reference, and classic Usagi's transforms are original and iconic, having marked several later generations.

I loved Powerpuff Girls Z's transformations as a child and I still love it as a freaking adult. The nostalgia really be hitting me hard like a truck. I love Madoka Magica's overall as it has a LOT of symbolism. What I loved the first time I watched Madoka was its aesthetic; everything looked like an abstract art and was so aesthetically pleasing. I loved how the Witches looked like; it was captivating.

I don't know, Nanoha A (i Think) was pretty dope with Raising Heart assembling itself as part of the transformation, and Symphogear is also a strong contender with each transformation a clear portray of characters (of course I'm not counting Hibiki Berserker transformation that while great is quite disturbing).
8:53 thats literally one of the best magical girl transformation, i always get a little dizzy when watching magical girl transformation because of the ammount of light and moving cameras with quick different shots this one is just still enough to dont get dizzy and confused but it's also interesting enough to dont make the viewer stop paying attention plus the music is so good.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica on the top 🔥🔥🔥 I have watched Rebellion more times than anyone can count because Oh My God. That movie is absolutely gorgeous in the visual direction. The usage of different art styles, animation and symbolism... There is so much symbolism that it almost makes me tear up at how stunningly beautiful this movie can be. The anime exceeds that as well but they put their heart and soul into the Rebellion movie. Please, if you are reading this, I beg you. Go watch Madoka Magica, both anime and movie. Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Cardcaptors Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew and Sailor Moon (the original cartoon not the Crystal one) were the best magical girls shows in my opinion. ^^
Precure series has the best transformation sequence in my opinion. They have awesome background music rather than showing off fan services like powerpuff girls and yall forgot miraculous ladybug where marinette yells 'TIKKI SPOTS ON HA'
ppgz isnt fanservice, if little girls wearing on the average swimsuit (not even a 2 piece) feels like fanservice to you that's pretty telling of you. there were some fanservicey ones in here but ppgz isn't one of them.
I haven't seen the powerpuff girls z yet, but the powerpuff girls I knew wouldn't waste 30 seconds transforming. The powerpuff girls I knew would kick butt in nightgowns and were too fast for a transformation. But, number 2 takes the whole 'it's also a gun' to a whole new level.

There's an episode of PPGZ where they show a henshin from an outside perspective, and it doesn't have any of the flashy dancing - the mahou shoujo triggers the transformation and is covered by a ball of light for a second or two, which then dissipates and leaves her fully transformed. I don't remember the name or the number of the episode, sadly, but I know it's the one where Momoko lies about having a boyfriend and the lie escalates to the point where Earth is on the brink of war with an alien civilization (the person she was lying to wasn't buying the whole human boyfriend thing, so Momoko bluffed that the boyfriend was an alien in a cigar-shaped spaceship... there just so happened to be such a spaceship floating behind her.) In regards to PPGZ being on the whole a perfect example of canon defilement, though, I will wholeheartedly back you up. It's kind of hard to defend it, given what they did to Blossom's characterization.
Ojamajo Doremi and Powerpuff Girls are produced by the same production company, so their transformations and drawing touches are similar. Although not shown here, Heart Catch Pretty Cure is also produced by the same production company.

I loved Powerpuff Girls Z's transformations as a child and I still love it as a freaking adult. The nostalgia really be hitting me hard like a truck.
I love Madoka Magica's overall as it has a LOT of symbolism. What I loved the first time I watched Madoka was its aesthetic; everything looked like an abstract art and was so aesthetically pleasing. I loved how the Witches looked like; it was captivating.

I don't know, Nanoha A (i Think) was pretty dope with Raising Heart assembling itself as part of the transformation, and Symphogear is also a strong contender with each transformation a clear portray of characters (of course I'm not counting Hibiki Berserker transformation that while great is quite disturbing).
Magical Doremi is better in my opinion

I have watched Rebellion more times than anyone can count because Oh My God. That movie is absolutely gorgeous in the visual direction. The usage of different art styles, animation and symbolism... There is so much symbolism that it almost makes me tear up at how stunningly beautiful this movie can be. The anime exceeds that as well but they put their heart and soul into the Rebellion movie.
Please, if you are reading this, I beg you. Go watch Madoka Magica, both anime and movie. Puella Magi Madoka Magica is more than just a Magical Girl anime, it is an entire experience that people need to live through.

ojamajo doremi is the cute witch sub-type of magical girl anime and those magical girls are so kawaii. ojamajo doremi is basically the predecessor to the pretty cure franchise. all magical girls are kawaii,especially the pretty cure franchise. my favorite cure form the franchise is cure amour. at the time of the video,it would've been cure scarlet,the most recent cure at the time.

I haven't seen the powerpuff girls z yet, but the powerpuff girls I knew wouldn't waste 30 seconds transforming. The powerpuff girls I knew would kick butt in nightgowns and were too fast for a transformation. But, number 2 takes the whole 'it's also a gun' to a whole new level.

There's an episode of PPGZ where they show a henshin from an outside perspective, and it doesn't have any of the flashy dancing - the mahou shoujo triggers the transformation and is covered by a ball of light for a second or two, which then dissipates and leaves her fully transformed.
I don't remember the name or the number of the episode, sadly, but I know it's the one where Momoko lies about having a boyfriend and the lie escalates to the point where Earth is on the brink of war with an alien civilization (the person she was lying to wasn't buying the whole human boyfriend thing, so Momoko bluffed that the boyfriend was an alien in a cigar-shaped spaceship... there just so happened to be such a spaceship floating behind her.)
In regards to PPGZ being on the whole a perfect example of canon defilement, though, I will wholeheartedly back you up. It's kind of hard to defend it, given what they did to Blossom's characterization.
