I'm elderly and your video gave me the confidence to try this on my 2006 Mercedes C230 today. Worked like a charm! I can't believe I've been driving around with extremely yellowed lenses for the past 4 years which made my car look 'its age'. Plus, I had already resolved myself to not being able to see very far ahead of me at night. But now looking forward to see how well it works out!
I used it on my '04 Mercedes with 248K. Worked better than I expected. It was way noticeable driving at night as my headlights illumination was much improved. This is a good product as advertised!
Seen a few people blown away by the Turtle Wax kit. The results seem to speak for themselves. Great to have these independent product testing videos. Thanks for making it.
I’ve used this exact kit several times over the years on my current car along with 2 of my previous ones. For the money, You really can’t go wrong with this. Will it last years? No, I usually have to redo mine once a year or so but it’s cheaper and less of a hassle than having to replace the entire headlight housings. Definitely worth the money!
I used it today just watching your video on my Honda Civic....Looks shiny and almost a new pair of Headlights, Thanks for this video and the product...
I just tried it on my 2003 Carvan's headlights. The sanding pads removed the yellow but could not smooth out all the pitting. Still, it was an improvement making the van safer because the headlights shine out better.
Thank you so much for this video! I took my car to the garage and they told me I needed to replace the lens.. yes they were very yellow but I got this kit and fallowed all your instructions and after three times (i read comments) and it worked fantastic! Again thank you!🎉
Seeing everyone’s comments on how well it worked for their older cars, I’m gonna pickup me a kit also for my ‘06. My headlights are so oxidized and yellow it’s disgusting! I don’t have a drill for other kits that require one so I can’t wait to try especially now with fall/winter approaching and getting darker earlier. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I just tried it and it worked beautifully 😍😍😍 got rid of all the oxidation from my lights. I was gonna pay someone to do it for me but now I don’t need to thank you bro ❤
FYI, I bought this at John's recommendation and I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the final result. I'm sure they won't swear by it, but I actually did 2 cars worth, so 4 headlights with one kit. My wife and sister-in-law's cars look so much better now. 10-out-of-10 would recommend.
Thanks! I’m finna use mine right now!👍🏽 Omg I had come back & edit. I used just the compound so far, haven’t even started the sanding process yet and it made such a world of difference!!! Omg 😱
Just picked this kit up at Lowes. Also grabbed a headlight restoration sanding kit for a drill. I’m thinking it should work out pretty good. I liked your Adam Sandler lunch lady song too😂
Bought this here in UK, same size box, only one bottle and one double pad, gloves and wipes. £16.00. It did take the yellowing off the lights though. Used to take my car to a guy who would buff them clean, but he's no longer with us.
So you didn't have to use a water spray or hose to wash away all of the spent polishing compound and sanding residue before progressing to the next steps ?
That shouldn’t happen. I would say to contact the company and see. The wipe is a clear coat and the only way it could go opaque is if the light was not cleaned first.
In my case, after the lens sealing wipe stage, it's not drying out totally even after 24 hours - is that normal and supposed to be wiped off with a cloth or something later? Some areas (close to the perimeters and curves) seem to be absolutely wet even after 24 hours
Thank you for the question. It should not be wet after 24 hours at all. It should self level as well. I would contact the company and see if there is an issue with the sealant.
Thank you I got the armorall set and used. I feel lole there was the scratchy stuff still on bottom half of my light. I sealed it, then ran to youtube... a bit backwards u think! Lol but I will try this one

Also I used this kit b4 though! Put the wipes into two small separate ziplock bags and put them in the fridge. (Label them lol) and you can get a few more sets of lights out of the kit
My results weren't as great as these, but I'm happy. A piece of advice: do this on a garage/covered area or a cloudy day. Direct sunlight dries the wax quickly, making it difficult to keep it rubbing.
Great video! Im going to try this on my car on Saturday. I notice that you didnt wipe off the oxidation from the lights between sanding sponges. Is that by design?
Always use the compound 2x before starting to sand. Skip the spray and use a garden hose while sanding. Fully rinsed before starting the next grit pad.
all good I have watched many tried several items the wax sound great how long will it last your headlights looked like they were still new before you did this
I think its funny how ever video Ive seen using this product, they all referred to the glove as a lunch lady glove. Your impression of how a lunch lady sounds cracked me up. As a lunch lady myself our gloves are nothing like that one. I will be trying this product on my severely oxidized headlights

Just did my rs200 Altezza. I thought it was magic lol. But the sealer is still wet after a few hours and I don't want to drive it as it might rain. Does the sealer eventually dry? Or do you wipe it off at some point? Because it didn't go on that evenly. It looks exactly like you rubbed some clear liquid on with a synthetic towel.
Am I the only one who has an issue with the Lens Sealing Wipe not drying? I applied it about a week ago on some brand new headlights I got, and it's still wet. Not sure why
@JohnEngel no, I'm thinking what it could be is something on them interfering with it. I had already put on the Turtle Wax ceramic acrylic wipe prior to the lens sealing wipe (just for some more protection). I might just have to wash it off. I feel pretty bad though, it's not too noticeable, but a small part of my headlight I tried to spray Meguiars headlight coating sealant over top, but it left some streaks.
