  • (I can't believe I never posted this video! TOO BUSY!)
    Molds from Creative Paradise: www.creativeparadiseglass.com/
Creative Paradise PDF on fill weights: spuaf.axcqn.servertrust.com/v/...
    Firing schedule I used:
    400-1100-45
    50-1225-90
600-1520-30 (This was summer 2021... since then, I've found I can get a nice full fuse at much lower temp and shorter hold, about 1475 for 20 min. Less stress on the molds and the glass)
9999-900-180 (long anneal soak as they were somewhat thick and I had other unrelated projects in the kiln I was planning around as well)
    100-600-0

I’m just getting back into making fused jewelry pieces again post-covid & post-cancer. I have been giving pendants to some of the healthcare workers & others who have been so supportive & my inventory is getting low so I want to restock. They always seem happy to receive them. have some molds & this is a great idea/technique. Thank you for making this video. What is Texta & how do you spell it?

Thanks for another great video! I have that little dot mold, was part of a stash of stuff I bought from someone downsizing. I hadn’t thought to use for dichroic scrap bits! The pieces are all so pretty and have great depth. Did you end up doing anything to the backs to clean or polish?

Jamaison, I was on the edge of my seat saying, "make sure no dichro to dichro happens!!". Naturally, you did a beautiful job, lol! I really, really like your idea of the tekta in smaller chunks as opposed to the frit, that is really helpful. I have all of those same molds and as usual, my ideas are swirling, lol! Thank you, wonderful as usual. 💖😉👍

I think adding clear frit before the black opal pieces might stop it sticking 😀

I need to get some of those holey molds and play. I just bought 4 sheets and a pound of scrap from CBS, and while I'm using it for a Kickstarter, it'll be fun to play with leftovers.

Finally just got my first casting mold at a visit to BE here in CA. I came right here to be sure I knew what to do. Thanks so much for all you do and share!

Oh, such a great idea. I have some (lots) of those pendants that just didn't turnout like I wanted and not something I wanted to sell. Brilliant!

I honestly didn't think those would come out so pretty. My business partner has tons of old dichro jewelry that she doesn't know what to do with. Thanks for the idea! I'll pass it on. Thank you.

You took some very unappealing pieces of scrap and repurposed them into beautiful pieces. I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences.

Great suggestion for reusing pieces that didn’t come out quite right. I haven’t had a good experience using molds but may tackle it again after seeing this. Thanks!
