Tuba Skinny - Chalmette Sunset

- A beautiful original tune written by Barnabus. This was the final song of Tuba Skinny’s terrific set from Pere Antoine Alley, next to St. Louis Cathedral and right off Royal St. in the French Quarter. Great to see them busking again in the quarters, first time since March of 2020. Recorded 6-6-21.
Go to their website for their current tour dates and you can tip the band via PayPal and Venmo. - Розваги
I had not heard this tune until today when their new album came out, and it's an incredibly beautiful composition. Thanks for sharing!
Very beautiful song
Gorgeous! Thank you Barnabus! Fantastic band, as alway!
I absolutely love this number. Well done Barnaby. Pure simple jazz, no microphones, amazing musicians and an ethereal feeling. This version is the best I have heard.
A pretty tune! Great job Barnabus!
Their music is so satisfying
Love this band. My gosh they are so talented. What a wonderful tune.

You can see the sunset with your ears ...
Wonderful and charming yeah charming melody!
I love how you all feel it together! Great sound!
Got to hear them perform this live and it's an amazing composition. Hope this makes it onto a CD soon. Amazing talent in this group and if you ever get the chance to see them in person it's well worth it.
The extraordinary art of composition "in style". No one other for classic jazz! And only six musicians in this piece!
This is such great stuff. Great T-Bone and Clarinet work.
Sweet! The Best
Happy to see you again. I love that cornet.
One fine song, arranged and played so well. Music that sounds like it could be a hundred years old.
Give it time.
Thank you Randy for filming this masterpiece and share it here.
They are not so many videos of "Sunset Chalmette"
Lovely Regards to you from Germany Dave. Best wishes and stay well.
There is such a happy thread through-out this lovely refrain it melts the trouble of the times and brings a smile of relief ... thanks guys, you are the top of game ... Mikie
Nice one, Barnabus.
Really nice tune and arrangement for a hot summer night's finale.
What an admirable band!!! seamless the essence of jazz, in its purest form!! Tuba Skinny the ultimate band
Great tune, thank you.
I'm lovin you guys. Your music is fantastic. I'm an old trumpet and bass player who adores old time jazz and blues.
Simple and clean line up very true to the N.O. roots just so good. long may they continue

trop sympa...
Even with Erica moved away, they used to be an octet, not a sextet. What happened to the banjo and other guitar players?
I felt sorrow for not only the song but the band watching this video.
I've seen a lot of their vids and sometimes cats just can't make the gigs. They got other stuff to do. I also think that the band busks as a way to practice material to get in shape for the tours and the big paid gigs.
Does anybody know what album this song is on? I'm having trouble finding it on their website.
There goes pretty Shaye tapping her foot to start off the tune, she is a great band director
👄👄👄
does anyone know the type of cymbal robin uses?
Please tell me the manufacturer and model number of the cornet
