    • @hellekimery9537

But, how do we know she really stood for days? And being scared to die, does not mean she wasn’t tired of living ! My mother , for about two days, stood in her yard, walked around restlessly scared and confused - couldn’t rest. She didn’t want to go to the hospital, because she feared if she did, she’d die!! Yet when she was taken to a hospice three days later, she had complete peace, and was ready to go! It happens quite a bit, so to me, that queen Elizabeth “ stood or walked” for days is not unlikely when you are close to death. I believe they call it “ death delirium “ .

69 years old back then was very old. I don't believe she gave up, she just died. This woman was a fighter, a survivor. She was clever, articulate, charming, cunning and brave.
Elizabeth put right a lot of the damage her father had done. She was a great monarch.
Although a lot is said about her not beating the Armada (it's said the weather won the war) She WAS Queen when the Armada fell, and she IS the Queen that gave the Heart and Stomach of a King speech. Elizabeth, Monarch, Queen and was married to England.

To be fair, she didn't deal with the Armada. The weather did. Elizabeth was bankrupt, couldn't afford to re stock/re arm her fleet, and Drake etc had to board Spanish ships to take their powder and shot. The man leading the Armada was appointed by Phillip of Spain, even though he'd never set foot on a ship. He followed Phillip's orders to the letter, which was also fatal.
A gale blew up and many ships foundered on the British coast, where the crew and soldiers were massacred by the English, Scots, Welsh and Irish.

The main reason the armada was defeated, was certainly because the weather. However, drakes raid on Cadiz in April of 1587 destroyed a lot of the Armada resources and delayed it for a year. Because of the goods brought back to England from his raid, Elizabeth was able to strengthen her defences with the extra wealth. Drake had also taken 1000 tons of seasoned wood from the Spanish Armada, which was used to build barrels and keep their food secure on sea. So that meant when the Spanish armada took off in 1588, they had to use unseasoned wood to store their food which meant a lot of it rotted. This decreased the moral of the Spanish soldiers, and was one of the reasons that the armada was defeated. Elizabeth also chose some skilled general and gave her soldiers motivating speeches which built stronger army against the Armada. England had also made advances in cannons and machinery, which meant that they could destroy the Armada from a distance.

Not only is this clickbait, half of the information in the video demonstrates a severe lack of knowledge. For instance, she didn't order the executions of Mary or the 2nd Earl of Essex. Earlier in her reign, Parliament had legislated a new Act regarding treason and the death penalty. This ultimately distanced her from directly ordering the deaths of traitors, but also shackled her power to pardon others, such as her personal doctor whom she did not believe was guilty but he was executed anyway because she couldn't do anything about it. It's really frustrating that channels like yours put in the bare minimum amount of effort and propagate misinformation to innocent people trying to learn about history. Shame on you.

The best thing to do is downvote the video, report the video as "misleading text" and block the channel. Eventually this crap disappears.

Can we visit Queen Elizabeth the first tomb? It would be very interesting to meet her in person.

Oh, please! "Dieux et mon droit" ; "God and my right". Since Monarchs believe that they are descended from and ordained by God, they don't worry about going to heaven or not. They believe that they are the hand of God on earth and fully carrying out His will.

I saw a title that said "rotting coffin"! But I think it's a typo 🤔 I'm not exactly needing to open it, the conversation is enough!

I wish I did not find your voice so monotonous, dull and lacking in inflections expected of the subject matter. Practice, practice, practice speaking as though you are in a discussion and trying to influence the other person rather than reading text to yourself.

This is one of those videos where the commentary should’ve been AI and not the horrendous Birmingham accent reading style. I stopped the video at 48 secs. 🤢

It was in a castle but the only thing visible was the vision towards the ceiling to a particular area, I perceived she had already passed, she’s royalty, I believe she is a Queen, it became more intense as I got closer to the ceiling. There’s a dark opening as if she was in there. The closer, the more intense. I don’t know what this means , but this , it felt dark , very dark . . .

My first visit in '79 I went to see their resting place with their marble effigies side by side. I fail to see why they were placed atop each other with all that space 🤔 Was it revenge for the execution of Mary?

Elizabeth I was not ruthless in some forms of execution the Queen was abolished as they were too horrific being hung revived and made to watch as they were cut things out them, you are getting mixed up between Henry VIII was supposed to exploded the Queen in a lead-lined coffin and can you tell me how when things were removed heart and other organs were removed stuffed full herbs and spices can explode with gas when there is nothing to build up gas her insides removed and encased in lead
