I like this Underswap. Much like the original version, the characters still act like themselves. But where the original version has the characters fully adopt their swapped roles, this keeps their original dynamics in tact, meaning Sans is still the one teasing Papyrus, for example.
i Actually really like the way that the sketal smash letimotif kicked in when everyone started to die. and since Skeletal smash is a US papyrus theme,im gonna assume its meant to be a replacement for the usual megalovania in backbone anyways,jesus loves you all, peace!
I never thought I needed an Underswap where the characters still have their Undertale personalities, or something very similar to it. Normal Underswap usually turns Papyrus into a smoking badass and Sans into a bouncy overexcited kid and Alphys into Undyne 2.0. Yet here, Sans is still chill and is ruining Papyrus's day, Papyrus seems like a really fun goofball of a dude and Alphys is just Alphys but she's got a bit more guts and a bit more GUN.
I mean, that's pretty much the point of underswap. Swapping personalities and character roles. Check other AUs if you want the same, rehashed characters, just with different roles. Ain't original either.
@@R816-kn8xqbut it basically just becomes a glorified reskin. It’s funner to see characters swap roles, but not personalities and figuring out ways to make them fit those roles without ruining the characters. Also the fandom has kind of ruined underswap sans (with the whole blueberry thing)

Because they swapped positions, sans is in the royal guard hence why he fights you as it's his job, Papyrus in this timeline likely pulled a classic sans and tried to prevent the human from going down a dark path, but was cut down instead, leading to sans confronting them at the end of the route😊
I noticed this is practically an unaccurate version since Alphys is supposed to be Buff and similar to Undyne and Sans like papyrus vice versa but still a good animation!
