Probably one of the more original takes on Distrust that isn't literally just "Underswap Disbelief". Stays true to their original Undertale personalities, too. This is coming from someone that's heavily biased against most genocide Sans and Papyrus fanworks, but I can say that I have some appreciation for this take and that I like the effort put into the video as a whole. :)
While I can’t agree I like the whole “underswap but they’re just the undertale characters”, it is very high quality and probably my favourite US disbelief ost
You can't really call it original even if it's just another personality kept inspired swap sans fight, just letting you know. I'd prefer something ACTUALLY new, like maybe an underrated character fight like Monster Kid

All of the characters retain their original UT personalities and actually stay true to them - Sans acts like himself, and judging from their expressions, Papyrus and Alphys seem to act like themselves as well. Removing Phase 4 altogether and having the battle with Sans melting into a puddle due to the determination he injected into himself was also something I thought was really clever. Plus, there were a lot of creative visuals throughout this video that I wasn't expecting to see at all, especially in Phase 3.
@@TheChaoCrew not necessarily, just because same personalities doesnt mean undertale itself, i consider swapping personalities as something you would only include because of not being able to be original, also chaning personalities just changes the characters in a bad way
for example, Sans acting as papyrus on the genocide run, only forgiving you because he believes in you (just as how undertale papyrus thinks), distrust takes featuring a crying sans that forgives you in the last phase, yeah its just disbelief reskin, takes of underswap or distrust like this that dont swap personalities just shows how you can make a disbelief branch without the necessity of becoming sans a small papyrus and in the process innovate using the character's original personality in a Papyrus role , now, if you made it with cannonswap then i would understand a sad sans but not a crying one, something like a sans that seems disappointed

The sprites being funni Toby styled, the logo being drawn just like a lazy skeleton would do, the pap, sans and alphys action in phase 3, the fact that you removed the 4th phase and it actually made sense, the DIALOGUE!! This puts a smile on my face. This is so good. I love how you retain the characters personalities, instead of using CanonSwap, which makes it pretty interesting. And the animations… oh boy, are they amazing. The characters show many different emotions, and the sprites animations are smooth. The music? No questions asked. Some goofy factors (Phase 3’s small details, the logo, etc)- And the story. Damn that ending chills me down to the bone- This is one, if not the best Distrust Take Soundtrack Animation I’ve ever seen. All I can say is: Amazing job.

This is a very popular misconception in this fandom, sans actually DOESN'T remember the resets, because if he did, he would've done soemthing about flowey.
I can see alot of effort into this, there are some things you could have improved apon but other from that this is one of the more orginals I've seen, good job I hope you're proud.

This is honestly really catchy I like how you put the blood of swap papyrus on the jacket cause of the fact that sans got it after papyrus died therefore the reason the blood is there
I love how there isnt a phase 4 like in dusttrust because it seems like sans is a lot more powerful in dusttrust than normal distrust, so it seems cool that distrust sans doesnt have enough power to collect all the souls like he can in dusttrust.
